History;
Some angels are cursed to be born again and again, reincarnation. The next incarnation also possess the memories of the previous incarnations. Signs of reincarnation includes the one of the angel's unique symbols ( each cursed angel has their own unique symbol) on the body and wings start developing at the age of 10. ( The higher ranked the angel thy was incarnated, the more wings). Each incarnation of each angel has unique abilities. (Incarnations of one angel is passed own to the next incarnation).

(Y/n) Lockhart is the reincarnation of the cursed angel, Alexiel, The Angel of Paradise. A Seraph, an angel of the highest order. The symbol on her forehead that she was born symbolises Alexiel. Alexiel unique ability is Pandora's Box. It allows the incarnation to grant any wish of anyone with a cost. ( The incarnation chooses the cost according to the wish ). At the age of 10 she had started to develop 3 pairs of small feathered wings, they grew with her as she grew up.

Erastés is a bond formed by lovers; a bond even marriage can not break. It is a pair of Nephilim who'll love each other as life long lovers. Their bond is reflected by their sacrifice for each other and deep affection of the other. A shadowhunter only has 16 years to find a lover to make the path with, if it's longer than that then the marriage rune is probably their only option.

Ritual;
Traditionally Erastés' are bonded under the age of 16 to preserve love in youth and forever more in the future. Young lovers under the age of 16 swear an oath infront of the council.

The ceremony is performed under a full moon. The lovers must both draw blood into a purified basin, once the blood fused together, both their stele are dipped into the blood and they draw the rune on each other.
