Flirting...or was it worse?

It had been two full months living in the new house and I liked it. Erin haden't bothered us since the guys beat the crap out of him. I have noticed that he has been staring at me on the ocassion.

Since it was late September and Anna and I were waiting for our friend Leah to get here, so we could do a final tan/swim day together without the guys. Leah finally got there at ten even though she was supposed to be there at nine-thirty. With a few playful smacks and glares I pointed my finger at her.

" You're finally here! Come on go get changed so we can go to the pool." I scolded.

" Okay mother hen and you act like its an hour away, when its only like fifteen steps!" Leah yelled. Jeeze someone hasn't had their coffee. Once she got changed and grabbed a towel we headed out back, and of course Erin was in his back yard practicing field hockey with a couple of his super cute friends. They of course had their shirts off, Gawd!? Why does my life have to suck so much? Just then a idea popped into my head.

" Hey Erin!" I say in a really girly vioce. I supress a giggle when I realize that Anna and Leah were both staring with looked like drool coming out of there mouth.

" Hey Wannabe." Erin replied I figured he would reply with something like that so I just smiled and said

" You know you should probably shut up or I might have to get the guys to beat the crap out of you again." Ha take that Erin! His face contorted into rage as he spit in the grass and glared which made his laughing friend shut up quickly.

" you little bit-"

Cher Llyod's Swagger Jagger blasted through the giagantic speakers in the concreate walls that suficed as our fence. I smirked and walked to my pool chair, We were all signing the chorus when next thing I knew, Erin was over our fence and had his Ipod on the dock and mine was in the pool.

I stood up and dove in the pool trying to find my ipod while the girls hovered over the side and Erin was on the ground laughing.

I come up shouting profanities and worse things but he hardly seems to notice since he's still on the ground. Quicly thinking of a plan I sprint towards his un attended ipod and chuck it against the concrete wall surrunding our property.He looked like he was about to murder me. I was laughing so hard that my tears were coming out of my eyes.

I was scarded half to death when he was two inches away from my face.

" Do you really think you should have done that?" he asked in a menacing tone.Before I could answer leah and Anna had thrown Erin in the pool, draging me alnog with him. The idiot grabed my had before he fell in and was still holding onto it now under the water. I tried to ignore the ugre to get closer to him because of the warm tingling sensation that shot through my arm when we touched.

I looked over and he was staring at our hands, looking up to find my staring he let go, almost hesitantly and swam to the surface. In desparit need of air I lunged off the bottom of the pool and once my head was out of the water I did two things: A.)breath B.) look for Erin. I only got A done because as I was looking around for him he came up behind me and we were back under the water again. Only then did I realise how long we were under the first time-

MY thoughts were cut short by Erin grabbing my hand and pointing up. I did as I was told and sure enough all of our friends , including the guys ( not Erins friends they were already there but tyler derek ..etc.) I looked back at Erin and found him staring at our hands again. I blew air bubbles in his face until he looked up at me ,then I pointed up then shrugged my shoulders in a what-do-we-do-about-them? kind of way. His face lit up and he suddenly went up for air then came back down,while still holding my hand. I folowed suit and once I was under we swam over to the cabanna that was placed over the water. ( OUr entirer decorater insisted ) Then a thought flashed through my head. What are our friends thinking? I asked him as soon as we came up.

" Well I truthfully don't care about our friends but mine are probably pigging out all of the food you have in a five miles radiuos." For some reason this made me giggle. Not a little laugh a full out school girl giggle. And I could help it .

'Straighten out Izzy get to the point of all of this!' my inner voice yelled at me. I listened obediently and told "Erin we needed to figure- I lifted our still intertwined hands up- this out because frankly I dont know wether to be freaked out or -" I cut myself off I was not going to tell him this made me happy, come on thats like telling the girl with the biggest mouth in school to keep a secret. Useless, never gonna happen.

" Or what? happy?" he said in an almost sincere voice. Almost. it was so easy to see the cocky glint in his eyes.

" Maybe if I was a slut like all the other girls that you 'so call' date." I smirked at him.

" Well if you don't like me why haven't you let go of my hand?"

"Oh like you have made any attemp to either!" Suddenly felt my body run cold. He had lifted his hand away.

" There I let go." he said quietly ,looking down almost regretfully. For some unknown reason I wanted to hug him to make him happy to do what ever it took to see him smile. I was insane! Thinking back to my friends I realised I didnt care at the moment. Building up the courage I said in a weak voice, " You didn't have to let go" I looked down before He could see the blush on my face.

I was sadly mistaken that he would just grab my hand. Instead he lifted my chin to look at him and all I could see in his eyes were the most amazing thing ever: love. He kissed me. Erin Ford Actually Kissed ME!! We sat there for a long time and when we broke apart for air he had his arms around me and I somehow got my fingers in his soft hair. Then it hit what everyone think if we just swam out of her like it was nothing? We've been in the cabanna for over twenty minutes. I told him this and asked him what we should do.

" Just pertend like we were fight ing this this has sound proof walls right?" I nodded this put my best angry face but it soon became a gigle because Erin started laughing. Thinking quick I ducked under water swam behind him ,clamped my eyes shut and pulled.
