Chapter 10~

    A few days later the clan was now adjusted to EchoStar being leader and were thriving. SnowMoon now slept with him in his den, instead of the warriors den. Today was the gathering, this will be SnowMoons first gathering since she came to ThunderClan. She hadn't gone before because she wasn't ready to see the cats she used to call her clan mates, she was ready now especially with EchoStar and YellowPaw at her side. The cats who had been chosen to go were on there way to the Island where the clans met. ThunderClan were the first clan to arrive, then soon WindClan began to filter into the Island. SnowMoon first spotted TansyHeart and HerbPaw who became TansyHeart's new apprentice after LightPaws death. Then soon she saw Deerleap, she called out to her old mentor, who looked shocked to see her and rushed over to her. " SnowPaw is it truly you? ShadedStar had said you had made it safely to ThunderClan but I hadn't seen you so I grew worried. Are you alright?" asked DeerLeap. " SnowMoon now, and yes I'm perfectly fine, more than actually. My friends and new family in ThunderClan treat me well, EchoStar is now the leader, and I his mate." said SnowMoon. " Oh that's sad to hear that ShadedStar has passed away, but wait your mates with EchoStar??!! Congrats. We miss you in WindClan, especially RabbitFur and HerbPaw, those two love you. Come say Hi to them. Hey RabbitFur, HerbPaw come here!!" yelled DeerLeap. RabbitFur looked over to them then headed over same with HerbPaw. The two cats looked at SnowMoon, HerbPaw recognized her immediately. " SnowPaw!! Look at you, you look so different and you smell of ThunderClan. I'm the medicine cat apprentice now, TansyHeart would love to see you, he misses you as well as us three." said the hyper apprentice. RabbitFur looked at her, she could see sadness and longing in his eyes. " Hello RabbitFur, how have you been?" asked SnowMoon. It took him a few moments to answer her. " I've been fine, uh how has ThunderClan been to you? Not mean I presume?" asked the brown tom. " Life has been good in ThunderClan, EchoStar and I are happy together, and I have a few great friends there." said SnowMoon. RabbitFur looked hurt when she mentioned her and EchoStar, she wanted to reach out to her oldest friend and comfort him just like they did when they were kits but she couldn't. " You have a mate now, congrats, I wish I could find a mate in WindClan, but cats just aren't you. I still wish you hadn't left Snow, we could've been great mates, had the best of kits. I have to go." RabbitFur had gotten up and left them. She was about to get up and apologize to him but the leaders had called the meeting to start. 

    "Cats of all clans listen up! This meeting is to start now. Since we are joined by a new leader tonight he shall speak for his clan first." Said HeatherStar. " Thank you HeatherStar. Hello everyone I am EchoStar, I am ShadedStar's son, as for news our Clan is doing well. We have a new Warrior with us tonight and that is SnowMoon, my father FoxHeart has retired to the Elders den since the death of my mother. That is all." said EchoStar. SnowMoon's name rang out through the clearing, she caught sight of TansyHeart, he was looking directly at her, pride was written all over his face.

    After the other leaders had finished the gathering was called to a close and the clans started to gather in order to go back home. SnowMoon started to make her way to EchoStar, but was stopped by TansyHeart calling out to her. " SnowMoon! Wait I wish to speak with you my dear." yelled the old Tom. She stopped and turned towards him. " Hello TansyHeart, I've missed you uncle." The two cats nuzzled each other, both of them full of happiness. " How have you been? I saw that you got your warrior name, I took HerbKit as my apprentice, with that name of hers how could I have not." TansyHeart purred. " I am well TansyHeart, I expect within the next few moons I'll be expecting my own litter of Kits with EchoStar." said SnowMoon. " That's good to hear, HerbPaw is learning fast for her young age, she'll be a great Medicine cat. Soon I have to give her full name, since I'll be joining StarClan anytime soon. You should get going now, your clan might leave you behind. Goodbye see you soon SnowMoon." said TansyHeart. " Goodbye TansyHeart see you around." The two cats departed from one another, SnowMoon made her way to her clanmates, EchoStar greeted her with an affectionate lick on the cheek. Then he led the cats back to their camp, each cat went off to their respective dens.

SnowMoon and EchoStar went to their den and laid in their nest. " SnowMoon, should we start trying for kits? I always wanted kits of my own and our kits would be amazing. So would you?" asked EchoStar. " Of course I would, but give it a few moons, I've just became a warrior and I want to be one for a bit before I become a mother." said SnowMoon. " Alright my love. Are you alright you seem as if something is bothering you?" he asked " It's just that, well my old friend RabbitFur, you remember him right?" she asked, EchoStar shook his head. "Well he just said some things that made me sad, he is still upset I left. He wanted me to stay and be his mate someday, but it wouldn't of happened anyways. I've always thought of him as a brother than anything, it has always been you I've loved, even back then. I hurt him when I left, same with TansyHeart, HeatherStar, DeerLeap, and HerbPaw. I feel terrible that I've caused them pain. Let's go to sleep, I don't want to talk about it anymore right now." said SnowMoon. EchoStar nodded and pulled her closer, then the two cats fell asleep.
