Traveling back to Jasper's territory left Asthenia entranced by the new technology and land. This was the first time Asthenia had ever left her small forest. She held onto the hope that Jasper's pack would be near a forest so she'd be able to retreat back to the comforts of the forest if things ever got to overwhelming for her. She wordlessly glanced over to the driver of the car, and as per usual Jasper was sitting there silently with his eyes focused on the road and his hand confortingly on her knee. Asthenia sighed due to the boredom and entertainment that the car ride lacked. Jasper glanced at her and turned on the radio. The song was a soft melody that filled the empty silence of the car ride.
As the hours passed by, Asthenia's eyelid got heavier and heavier until she could no longer keep the open and drifted off into sleep.
She awoke when she found that Jasper was hesitantly trying to remove her from the car seat without waking her. An almost unnoticeable flush appeared on his face. "We arrived, I apologize I did not mean to interrupt your slumber." She gave him a comforting smile. "It's really no problem." She got out of the car and gazed at the pack land that seems to stretch on for miles. Asthenia looks back at Jasper, who was already watching her and strikes him with another charming smile. "May I have a look around?"

I'm so sorry that I didn't post sooner I wasn't
sure what to write, and I really very lazy.
I posted this chapter as a part one because I really wanted to get a chapter out there. I'm really sorry if it's short. To be quite honest, I don't really have a plan for this book yet, so I'm just kind of writing it whenever I have a good idea. Thanks for hearing me out and being so patient!
