I felt like a tribal warrior. You know? Mud streaked on my face like war paint and my red dress torn and redesigned so it covered over parts of my body with my hair mostly down with bits of flowers tied into it.

Lets just say, ever since my little 'breakdown', I hadn't been back to any sort of civilization and only been keeping in the woods and forests.

It seemed staying in the forest did calm me down but it took a while. From what I could tell, it had been about 3 days or so since the whole thing which I'm not going to think about otherwise I get angry and want to kill something.

I'm actually surprised that no ones popped up and found me. With them all pretty much being vampires then they should at least be able to track me but I hadn't seen anyone.

No doubt news would have spread about Klaus and I falling out which I didn't really care about. Klaus can go and walk into a white oak stake for all I care.

One thing I'm certain of, I don't have many emotions. I don't know how it happened, I just seemed to shut them out.

So I'm a bit of a sarcastic, annoying sociopath with a lot of pent up anger.

I was sitting at the base of an old pine tree with a small camp fire blazing in front of me. As the fire was slowly dying out, I flicked my hand and several dry sticks hovered in the air and landed onto the flames.

To be honest I could easily just make the flames bigger by using my magic but I couldn't be bothered.

And that made complete sense.

I started picking at my feet as bits of mud were stuck in between my toes and just as I went to pick out a large bit, the snapping of twigs put my guard up and I was on my feet instantly.

I scanned my surroundings to see if there was anyone coming but when there was a whooshing sound by my ear I instantly knew it was a vampire.

Or worse, a hybrid.

Not really in the mood to be civilized today however, using the air and my magic, I shot off the ground and landed high up in the pine tree that I was sitting under.

Since the fire was still blazing, I flicked my hand to the side once again and the flame went out with no smoke emitted from it.

The sound of more sticks snapped, signalling whoever it was was now moving at walking speed.

My breath caught in my throat when I saw that it was Klaus strolling around the forest, a troubled expression on his face.

It took all my will to not jump down from the tree and snap his neck but right now I didn't want anyone to find me for a while.

Just as he turned around and looked up the tree in my direction, I cast a spell which made me invisible as long as someone was watching me.

Although Klaus didn't know, we were having intense eye contact right now. All I saw in his eyes though, was Hayley.

After a few more moments, he sighed and turned away, vanishing from the area. A breath I didn't know I was holding in escaped my lips and I jumped down from the tree, using my magic to soften my fall.

I was half tempted to run after him so I could shout at him and maybe break his spine so he would paralyzed so I could shout at him some more.

I pouted at what use to be my fire which was now a scatter of burnt sticks.

Maybe I should go back to town.... If I knew where that was...

My eyes scanned the first once again, eventually I closed my eyes and breathed in deep, listening to any signs of civilization.
