Chapter One: Insomniacs

It was nearly 2 a.m., Reddit was in his room, scrolling through social media. He was in nothing except his boxers, for it was hot as all hell in his room. He sighed, and placed his phone on his side table. "Why can't I just sleep..." Reddit mumbled to himself, not wanting to wake up his roommate in the other room.

"Maybe, if I'm quiet..." Reddit pulled down his boxers and gently began rubbing his shaft. "I should stay off my phone...what would I even get off t-..." Suddenly his mind drifted to his roommate, Discord.

Discord and Reddit have been friends since, well, forever. They were as close as people could get, and Reddit has been repressing his feelings for a long while now.

"H-hey Reddit? Are you still awake...?" Reddit in a split second pulled up his boxers and covered himself in his blanket. It was Discord, looking on from the doorway, wearing his oversized purple hoodie and his boxers as well.

Reddit had totally buried himself in his blanket out of shame. "Uh-...yeah I'm awake, what's...up?" Discord rubbed his arm nervously and looked away. "Can I stay in here tonight? Sorry if it seems weird dude...it's just really cold in my room and your room is the only warm plave here and I..."

Reddit weighted his options. On one hand, he could make the whole situation extremely awkward, or just let his best friend snuggle him and just let things happen as they happen. He thought for a minute and gave a response.

"Of course you can, dude. You can sleep next to me...if-if you're cool with that I mean." Discord chuckled to himself and climbed into bed with Reddit. Reddit had given up half the blanket to Discord, yet Discord was still shivering like crazy.

Reddit made a completely compulsive decision, and hugged onto Discord from behind, not thinking of the consequences. Discord almost immediately stopped shivering and relaxed into Reddits arms, soon drifting off.
