Chapter Nine: Wake-Up Call

It was a couple days after the party, and Reddit and Discord were doing their best to live out the rest of their vacation the best they could. Reddit was still midly concussed, having really nasty headaches at random. Luckily for him, he gets to be taken care of Discord until he gets better.

Reddit was feeling extra moody that day, and Discord couldn't figure out for the life of him what the issue is. Discord peeked into Reddit's room, and saw him laying in bed, pouting. Discord decided to take this opportunity to tease the hell out of him, knowing it would eventually lead to Reddit cheering up.

Discord walked over to where Reddit was laying down, and before Reddit could get a word in, Discord began to poke at him. "What the hell are you doing...I'm not actually dead y'know." Reddit grumbled as he turned away, which caused Discord to giggle and keep poking him. "Dunno...you look pretty dead to me!"

Reddit groaned and turned back around, "Seriously, what the fuck do you want? As you can see, I'm not exactly having the best day..." Discord smiled, "That's exactly why I'm here, to stop YOU from being such a sourpuss!" Before Reddit could reply, Discord jumped on him and was sitting in his lap. "And I know just the thing to cheer you up!"

"Oh really?", Reddit taunted, "What could that possibly b-" Discord cut him off by giving him a quick, but intense kiss on the lips, which immediately made Reddit surprised and flustered.

He tried to act all grumbly and cranky still, but couldn't hide the obvious smile on his face. He groaned slightly and just  hid his face in Discord's shoulder. "Fine, fine...you win this time...sorry for being such an asshole today..." he mumbled gently while hugging onto Discord.

Discord giggled and hugged him back, "Don't you worry about it, just glad you're back to the land of the living!" He thought for a second and smirked, before gently pushing Reddit down onto the bed, and getting ontop of him. 

But before they could get any further than that, Discord's phone began to ring, which made the both of them start laughing awkwardly. "S-sorry!" Discord stuttered, grabbing his phone and staring at who was calling for a second before quickly getting out of the room to answer it.

Reddit was more than confused, but too lazy to get up to snoop on the conversation, so he just layed there in that exact spot and listened the best he could from where he was. After a few minutes, Discord came back into the room, looking kinda nervous.

"Discord...? What's gotten into you-..."

Discord thought for a moment and took a deep breath and spit it all out.

"It's Twitch...he wants to move in with us..."
