Suddenly, Reddit's phone rang, which immediately gained both their attention. There was a moment of awkward silence and Reddit reached for his phone and answered it. He was completely caught off guard when Tumblr started talking.
"Hey Reddit, what's going on right now?"
"Oh uh...nothing much Tumbs, why're you even calling so early anyways?"
"I was just curious, and I've been calling a bunch of our friends to see when we should arrange a party! It's been a while since we've all hung out together."
Reddit paused for a minute, and glanced over at Discord, who looked embarrassed and flustered. He kept a slighy gaze on him for most of the conversation, he was having thoughts that a party was just what the two needed to ease the tension.
"Yeah I totally agree, a party would be great! We have been kinda hidden away for a while so it'd be nice to see some friendly faces for once..."
"Sounds good, I'll see you at my place at 10 tonight! Make sure to bring your..."friend" too!" And she then hung up.
Discord finally worked up the courage to speak again. "Uh...who was that...?" Reddit panicked slightly, for all that Discord knew about Tumblr was that she was his ex from a while ago.
"It was just one of my friends, and they asked us if we wanted to go to their place for a party later tonight. Do you wanna come with? I'll need a wingman if either of us are going to survive it there."
Discord chuckled. "Sure dude, I'd love to go with you."
