(A/N. I couldn't find any other version of the song that actually works in Wattpad so sorry for the screaming Fangirl's in the background of the music.)

ANNABETH

The entire room smelt like the sea and Percy. The sheets were soft and the bed was comfy and of course, it was all blue.

From months of sleeping in the Poseidon Cabin when Percy was gone, the whole scene was so familiar yet alien like.

Annabeth kind of felt guilty for taking Percy's bed when he was stuck with the sofa. But he had insisted and practically forced her to do so.

They hadn't yet told Sally or Paul about their nightmares, thinking that it was for the best that they didn't know. Her dreams were becoming more vivid and lifelike by the day and each one brought back dark memmories from her traumatic experience.

Sometimes, she was back in Taratarus. Sometimes, it was of the final battle with Gaia. Everyone of the dreams however always showed Percy and herself being seperated in many ways than one.

The house was quiet and asleep, something she couldn't seem to achieve tonight. The dream she had just had was scorched into her mind.

Finally, when she could take it anymore, she got out of the bed. It creaked softly at the loss of the weight ontop of it. The soft carpet muted down her footsteps. She made her way to the living room silently.

She padded quietly to the sofa where a sleeping mass lay, wrapped up in a blanket.

His hair was messed up as usual and his closed eyelids hid his beautiful sea green eyes. A bead of seat glistened on his forehead.

She sat herself down next to him on the sofa, perching at the very edge with the lack of space, unconsciously running a hand through his black mess of hair.

Percy smiled in his sleep and cracked open an eye.

"Morning Wise Girl." He whispered.

Annabeth pulled away her hand, startled.

Percy laughed and sat up, pulling her closer to him.

"Couldn't sleep?" He asked.

Annabeth nodded, resting her head on him comfortably. "Nightmares." She said, answering his unasked question.

"What did you see?" He whispered hesitantly.

"Tartarus. But it's no big deal, I mean demigod dreams are always bad right?" She said confidently, faking a smile, though in the inside, she was broken. She was terrified and scared. But she didn't want to appear weak.

She was Annabeth Chase. Daughter of Athena. She had faced the terrors of the real world ever since she was a child. She had followed the mark of Athena and had succeded in her task. She had been through Tartarus. She was the lead councellor for her cabin. So many people looked up to her. So many expected her to lead the wat.

She had gone through so much. Too much. She wasn't going to back out now, because of some stupid nightmares.

"Wise Girl?" Percy mumbled. "It's okay to be scared. It's okay to break down. I'll be here for you, okay? I'll never leave you. Never."

Annabeth smiled and allowed a single tear to fall down. "As long as we're together."

Percy kissed her cheek. After a while of just sitting there quietly in a comfortable silence, without realising it she fell asleep.

What Annabeth hadn't noticed was that Sally Jackson, who had woken up in the middle of the night to make herself a mug of coffee, had seen the whole scene. She had gone back to bed after tucking in her two precious gems under the blanket and had decided not to mention anything about it the next day.
