It had been a long couple of months waiting for the family's test results.

Unfortunately lisa was the only match.

Recently the doctor's had  determined that the dialysis had stopped working as effectively as it had previously.

It was still working just not as well.

Lyndy's doctor's had determined that she would need a double kidney transplant.

What are we going to do Amy Ty asked pacing.

We should a least tell the family that lisa is a match so she can get on waiting list for the sargery then we do whatever we need to do to find another donor Amy said.

Amy there is no one Ty snapped.

Amy let his tone roll off her back knowing how stressed he was about the situation.

Amy walked over to where Ty was standing and placed her hands on his shoulders.

Hey look at we're going to figure this out okay we have to Amy said.

But how Ty asked showing the worry on his face.

I don't know but we will Amy said.

Suddenly Amy had an idea.

Would Lily do it Amy asked.

Lily was coming for a visit later that day  and Amy thought maybe they could ask her  to at least get tested.

I really don't want to ask my mom to do that Ty said.

Why don't Amy asked.

It just doesn't feel right Ty said.

I think it's our only option Amy said.

Amy I'm not doing it Ty said.

Really wow Amy taken aback and angry at her husband's response.

Ty walked over to Amy was standing and wrapped his arms around her from behind.

Don't touch me Amy said pulling away.

Amy I'm sorry but I just can't do it Ty said.

Whatever I'll figure out something else Amy said.

This is when Lyndy came walked into the room.

Mommy can we cuddle I don't feel good Lyndy said.

Of course where do you want to cuddle Amy asked.

Mommy and daddy's room Lyndy said.

Okay Amy come on Amy said.

After an hour Amy heard Lily arrived.

I think gramma is here do you want to go say hi Amy asked.

Okay Lyndy said.

Do you want me to carry you Amy. Asked.

Yes please Lyndy said.

Okay come here Amy said.

Amy was about half way down the hallway she heard someone crying.

Is that daddy crying Lyndy asked.

I think So go back into mommy and daddy's room for a minute Amy said.

Okay Lyndy said going back into Amy and Ty's room.

Ty what's wrong Amy asked.

I don't know what to do Ty said.

It's okay we'll figure it out Amy said trying to soothe him.

What's going on Lily asked.

We only found one match for Lyndy.

Oh no is there anything I can
do Lily asked.

Not really Amy said.

Can I get tested Lily asked.

Well you could but you don't have to Amy said.

No I want to Lily said .
