The Bordens had gotten back from Hawaii a week ago.

The whole family had a blast the whole vacation but they all had to admit it had been much more fun after receiving the news.

The stress relief the trip to Hawaii as a whole had given Amy and Ty was nothing compared to how much fun the kids had.

Lyndy had not stopped talking about how fun the trip had been and according to the tests Ty had gotten from Andrea the same went for Luke.

Andrea and Luke's house.

Luke Andrea yelled from her bedroom where she was sitting on her bed folding laundry.

Yes mam Luke asked standing in the doorway of his mother's room .

Come here I need to talk to you about something Andrea said patting the empty space beside her on the bed.

That's never good I'm not going into foster care am I Luke asked panicking.

No your not going back into foster care I promise Andrea said trying to calm her son down.

Then what is mom Luke asked.

Starting tomorrow your going to stay at auntie cynthia's house for a few weeks Andrea said.

Why mom I hate auntie cynthia's house Luke complained.

Andrea ignored Luke's complaints, smiled at him and asked would you do it for your sister.

Yes of course what does Lyndy have to do with this Luke asked.

Can you keep a secret Andrea asked smiling.

Yes I guess Luke said confused.

I'm going to donate a  kidney to Lyndy and the operation is tomorrow Andrea said.

Wait really Luke asked smiling.

Yes really Andrea said hugging Luke.

So when Amy got the call about the donor it was you Luke asked.

Yes it was Andrea said.

Mom you didn't have to do that Luke said.

Yes I did I love Lyndy as much as you do and I can't imagine how it feels to think your child is going to die Andrea said. Hugging Luke tightly.

I love you mom Luke said hugging her back.

I love you too buddy Andrea said kissing Luke's forehead.

Meanwhile at heartland.

Good night sweetheart Amy said kissing Lyndy's forehead putting Lyndy to bed  that night.

Mommy can you stay with me for a while Lyndy asked.

Yes I can are you feeling okay sweetheart Amy asked sitting down on the floor next to Lyndy's bed  and held her hand.

Yes but what if don't get better Lyndy asked.

Are you  nervous about tomorrow Amy asked.

Lyndy nodded.

There's nothing to be nervous about your going to take a nap  ,the doctors arķe going to fix you then mommy and daddy will be there when you wake up Amy said.

Then I'll feel better Lyndy said.

Well it will be a couple weeks before you feel completely better but yes Amy said.

After Amy was sure Lyndy was asleep she snuck out of the room.

Amy walked into the living room to see Ty sitting on the couch.

She sat down beside him and snuggled into him.

Is she okay you were in there for a while Ty asked.

Yeah she was nervous about tomorrow and I can safely say she's not the only one Amy said..

I  really wish  could help you calm down  but I'm nervous too Ty said.

Neither Amy or Ty sleeped that night.

They were both too nervous to sleep.

Amy was up at 3:30 that morning partly because she couldn't sleep and partly because she had stuff to pack before left for the hospital.

Ty wasn't far behind.

They had decided to not wake Lyndy until the last minute because of the fact that she couldn't have bothered and because of the fact she was not a morning person.

They were headed to the hospital by 5 and by 7 Lyndy was being taken back to the operating room .

Amy and Ty decided it would be better for Amy to go into the operating room with Lyndy .

There was a lot of things that Ty could  handle but seeing Lyndy off to sargery was not one of them.

Amy read Lyndy a book as the Anastasia set in then kissed Lyndy on her forehead  and left.

3 hours later Lyndy's doctor came out to tell Amy and Ty that the sargery had been a success  and that they could go see her.

Amy and Ty both went back to see Lyndy.

She was more than a little loopy.

After a while Lyndy was taken to recovery.

Are you hungry Ty asked Lyndy when she woke up a little more.

Yes Lyndy said.

What do you want to eat Ty asked.

Chicken nuggets Lyndy said.

Okay I'll go get you some chicken nuggets Ty said smiling.

Ty was just about to leave the room when he heard Lyndy's voice from behind him.

Daddy can I have apple juice too Lyndy asked.

You got it baby girl Ty said leaving the room.

About a minute minute after Ty left Lyndy fell asleep 

All of the sudden all of the monitors Lyndy was connected to started beeping furiously.

Then Amy heard the words code blue be announced over the intercom then a
Whole bunch of doctors rushed into the room and gathered around Lyndy.

Ma'am I'm going to have to ask you to leave one of the doctors.

What's going on Amy asked panicking.

Your daughter is not breathing now you need to leave another doctor said.
