It had been two weeks since Lily had gotten tested and results were in.

When Lily opened the results her heart sank.

Not a match is what she read.

Lily knew Amy and Ty were going to heartbroken.

They were all really hoping Lily would be a match.

Amy had opened up to Lily about how much they needed this to work out.

Lily reluctantly called Amy.

Amy and Ty were doing the dishes together when the phone rang.

It's Lily Amy said nervously.

Hi Lily Amy said.

Can we talk Lily asked.

Yes come to the house this afternoon Amy said

Okay see you then Lily said.

Okay bye Amy said hanging up the phone.

She definitely got the results back Ty said.

Yeah let's hope it's good  news Amy said.

Later that day Amy, Ty and Lily were sitting at the picnic table.

As you might have guessed I got the results back.

And Amy asked.

I'm sorry I'm not a match Lily said.

Damn Ty said trying to hide his anger over the situation.

Amy didn't say anything instead started to sob.

It's okay Amy Ty said trying to soothe her.

What are we going to do Amy asked though tears.

I don't know but we'll figure it out. Ty repeated the same words she had said to him weeks before.

We had to Amy said.

Ty wiped Amy's tears off her face with his sleeve.

Just then Katie came came running.

What's up Katie Ty asked.

Lyndy's throwing up Katie said.

Okay Amy said running into the house.

Amy ran into Katie and Lyndy's room to see Luke holding the garbage for Lyndy to throw up in.

When he saw saw Amy Luke stood and gave her the garbage can to hold for Lyndy.

Mommy Lyndy cried.

I'm right here sweetheart are you okay Amy asked.

No I don't feel good I'm sorry Lyndy said through tears .

You have nothing to be sorry for sweetie it's okay Amy said.

I made Luke hold the garbage can Lyndy said.

It's okay Lyndy Luke said.

See he doesn't mind Amy said trying to get Lyndy to calm down.

I know I just don't being sick Lyndy said still throwing up.

I know baby Amy said

Amy couldn't stand seeing Lyndy so sick.

She had gone from her normal healthy energetic self to a very sick little girl in a matter of months and it broke Amy's heart.

After Lyndy finished throwing up all she wanted to was sleep.

Amy gave Lyndy a bath, chagrined her sheets and layed her down for a nap.
