Promise? (Jimin x reader)

Chapter 11

We have all been talking, laughing, and drinking for the past 6 hours. It's now 6:21 pm and it's just about to start to get dark outside. We're all playing cards while a bit tipsy at the same time.

"And I got four Ace's!"

Everyone groans as Taehyung throws his four winning cards down in the card pile.

"Come on, Tae. You won every card game we played today!" Jin says annoyed.

Taehyung laughs and bites into one of Jungkook's cookies. "I'm just too good for you to beat, aren't I?"

Jin scoffs at him and turns away. "No... at least I'm more handsome."

"Not true!"

"Yes it is."

"Jin, stop picking on Taehyung. You're both handsome," Namjoon says breaking up their fight.

"HA!" Tae says.

"And Tae," Namjoon starts again, "stop being cocky."

Taehyung sits down. "Okay, fair."

Yoongi groans and lays down. "We should do something not boring and something that we haven't already done today."

Hoseok jumps up with a bright face and exclaims, "We should watch the sunset and then take a walk under the stars and city lights!"

"That seems fun, I agree with that," Jungkook says.

"Yeah, same here!" Jee excitingly says.

"I meant sleeping but okay," Yoongi says getting up.

"What about you, Y/N?" Everyone is looking at me waiting for my decision. I mean, this is always what I've dreamed of for my first date. You know, watching the sunset and all. This isn't a date of course since it's with all of the group, but it's even better because it's with BTS.

"Okay, why not?"

Everyone cheers at my answer and then we start to walk out of the room.

Getting their body guards, we sneak out of the hotel in case there are any fans and we get to the cars. There are three identical black cars with tinted windows. Jin, Namjoon, Yoongi, and Jungkook get in the first car and Jimin, Taehyung, and Hoseok get into the second car. The camera crew get into the last car.

"Y/N, you should ride with us!" Jungkook says. Huh, I wonder why Jungkook asked me to ride with them. You would think they'd want me to sit by Jimin or something.

"Hey Jee! Come with us!" Taehyung says from the other car. Me and Jee exchange glances before getting into the opposite cars.

Once I get in the back-backseat with Jin and Jungkook, they close the door and then they all stare at me smiling. Umm, this is a bit weird.

"So," Jungkook says.

No one says anything for 10 seconds, until Jin talks.

"What do you think about Jimin?"

Huh, weird. That's why they've been teasing Jimin this entire time. They've must have noticed how i've acted around him. How haven't I caught on to that?

I sit there looking at them not knowing what to say. Do I tell them the truth? Do I lie? Do I tell them half of the truth? I don't know, I'm confused!

"Um, well, I—uh.."

Yoongi shakes his head and turns to the guys. "Don't pressure her into telling us, she'll tell us whenever she feels like it."

Wow, thank the Lord for Yoongi.

"But if that moment is now then you can tell us, but only if you want to."

Right when I thought that he was helping me. I guess there's no going back. It's either I tell them how I feel about Jimin, or they're going to keep staring at me like murderers for the rest of the night. I sigh giving up.

"Okay... well I mean, I don't know exactly how to put it into words, but i'll try."

Jin and Jungkook high five each other and then go back to staring at me. Shit, here I go.

"Truth is, I really like Jimin. Before the concert, I didn't have a bias because you all are equally amazing and talented. But, I had a real connection with Jimin when we had that weird staring moment going on and it made the world slow to a stop for a second. Then just talking to him and hanging around him made my heart beat out of my chest and I just feel like I can be myself around him."

Wow, I really spilt all of that tea to them. Their jaws are dropped and their eyes are wide open. It's funny how shocked they look.

"But if you tell him, you all are going to pay," I add.

They nod their heads and then start whispering to each other quiet enough to where I can't hear them. I can hear a few things though.

"Should we tell her?"

"He won't like it."

"That's deep"

Then some Korean words. Of course they'd talk in Korean if they didn't want me to know anything. That's great.

•JEE'S POV•

As soon as I get in the car, they bombard me with questions. There are so many questions being asked at once that I can't keep up with them.

"Okay okay, one at a time!" I say.

Hoseok starts. "JUNGKOOK!"

"You don't have to scream, Hoseok!" Tae says laughing.

"How do you feel about Jungkook?" Jimin says getting to the point. I wonder if this is what they're doing in the other car but to Y/N about Jimin... hm.

"What do you mean by that? Like how I feel around him? What do I think of him as?"

I know perfectly well what they mean, I just don't want to answer. Cause then they'll tell Jungkook or it will accidentally get to Jungkook and i'll be embarrassed for the rest of my life until I jump off a bridge and plunge to my death! But I also kinda want him to know just in case he likes me too and AHH! I'm thinking too much here.

"Both," Hoseok answers. Well, I guess i'm answering.

"I like Jungkook. A lot actually. He's pretty cool, his personality is great, and he makes some amazing cookies." We all laugh for a second. "And his fame isn't what I like about him, it's just him being himself is what I like about him, and that's perfect.

"Random question." I look up at Taehyung who is speaking. "Would you ever, you know, think about being in a relationship with him?"

I laugh. "Of course. Why wouldn't I?"

"You see, we need more people like Jee in our lives! Someone to love us for who we are and not for our fame or money!" Hoseok says.

Heh, I know a person who loves a certain person in this car for their personality and not for their fame and money. Wink wink. I'm going to turn the tables here now.

"Jimin?" I ask. He looks up quickly at me. "What do you think about Y/N?"

hehehe I made this chapter longer than usual. i don't know why i did, but i did 😂. it took like a week or so but i finally got it done. how's the story going so far? i've worked a lot on it but idk if it's getting any better or not haha. in like a month or so, i should be getting a job so if I do, that means it's gonna take longer for me to write chapters 😓 i'm sorry :( i'll try my best though!
