Promise? (Jimin x reader)

Chapter 12

•Y/N POV•

We get out of the cars to see that we have arrived at a beach. But no one is here. They must've rented the whole beach or something.

I walk up to Jee and nudge her arm. "Hey," I whisper, "The car ride was interesting."

Jee nods. "They asked you questions about how you felt about Jimin?"

I nod and follow the guys. "Yeah, they ask you how you felt about Jungkook?"

"Yep. It's crazy, I didn't think I made it obvious that I like him."

I stop her and look at her. "That's the thing, you didn't. Jungkook likes you and that's why they asked." I smile at her and she starts blushing. "As for me, they just noticed that I like Jimin by my extreme blushing and acting awkward around him. I doubt he even has a single bit of feelings for me."

She laughs and then pauses. "You really think he likes me?"

"Of course, why wouldn't he? You're amazing! You have a crazy awesome personality and you are so pretty. All of the guys are after you man."

She covers her face in embarrassment. "Stooop i'm dying!" We start laughing and Jungkook looks back.

"What's funny?" he asks.

"Oh, we just saw a seagull that looked like Justin Bieber."

Jimin starts laughing while looking at Jungkook. Jungkook also laughs and we continue on our way.

It's 7:46 pm and the sun is starting to set. We're all admiring the sky's beautiful layers of colors. Me and Jee take out our phones and take pictures of it. Whenever there is a sunset or sunrise, I always keep a memory of it on my phone.

Taehyung and Hoseok are splashing each other with water, Yoongi is sleeping in the sand, Namjoon is looking for crabs, and Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook are trying to bury Yoongi.

After a few minutes, I hear someone behind me.

"Cool picture."

I turn around to see Jimin smiling and looking at the picture I just took of the sky. "You want to see the other pictures I took?"

He nods and comes closer to see my phone. Every time he gets closer to me, my heart races even faster.

"Wow! You should be a photographer!"

I shake my head. "Nah, i'm not good enough to make a living off of it."

"Well, what do you want to be?"

That's a question I haven't really thought of. I probably should have a few years ago since i'm now a Senior in High School.

"Honestly, I want to be a dancer, but there's no way that's happening with the way I dance. Other than that, I have no idea what I want to be."

•Jimin's POV•
(i know this is a weird spot to change POV but in this chapter i'm going to be changing POV a lot between Y/N and Jimin)

She doesn't know what she wants to be? But she's going to college in a few months! Maybe I can help her out a bit.

"Let me show you then."

She looks surprised but confused too. I take her hand and I run leading her to a place without any people.

I find an empty shack and I take her inside.

"You gonna murder me in here or something?" she jokingly says. Her remarks are cute. I'm glad she's getting more comfortable around us all.

"I'm going to show you how to dance." I take out my phone and tap on the YouTube app. "What type of dance do you want to do?"

She immediately responds with, "Hip-Hop. I've always wanted to take Hip-Hop dance classes."

I'm glad she picked Hip-Hop, since I am experienced.

I type in a hip-hop song and put down my phone once the song starts playing. I show her some dance moves to try out and she copies them perfectly.

"Wow, and you say you can't dance," I say impressed.

She giggles. "Because I can't. I look like a worm."

Ah, if only she saw her dance through my eyes. "You're doing perfect. Let's keep going."

After 30 more minutes, we learned an entire dance. She's a fast learner.

"I'm impressed, you did really well," I say. She is also quick to blush hehe. It makes her even more cuter.

"Thank you," she says. "You improved my dancing a lot, so thank you for helping me."

I nod. "Whenever you want a dance lesson, just text me."

Ding ding!

Her phone rings breaking the silence. She looks at the notification and rolls her eyes.

"What is it?"

"Jee texted me, she wants to know where we went. Should we start to head back to them?"

Even though I want to stay here with her longer, I nod in agreement. We can't stay here forever.

•Y/N POV•

We walk out of the shack to see that it's dark outside. The sun had already set completely, but it's a clear night so the stars are out. And i'm walking under them with only Jimin. How lucky am I?

The moonlight makes Jimin's eyes glimmer and his skin glow. This lighting looks so great on him. There's something about this setting that just makes me feel calm and comfortable. Like I can do anything.

"It's a beautiful night," he says. I'm still caught in his eyes. How are they so pretty, what? How is he so perfect? He looks over and notices me staring. He then smirks and puts his arm around my shoulder. "You're cute," he says. I'm done for now, my heart will explode any second at the pace it's going right now. It is a bit chilly outside, but with his arm around me and my face blushing, i'm pretty warm.

We finally reach the guys and Jee after 5 minutes. They gasp once they see me and Jimin.

"I told you!" Jungkook says to Tae.

"Whatever, I knew deep inside that it was gonna happen!" Tae argues.

"Guys!" Jimin interrupts. "Cmon, let's walk under the starlights."
