Emperor approached his robot counterpart, but dove into a nearby vent area as the robot paused and turned around. He initially didn't have a plan except for attacking head on, but now he could see just how bad of a plan that was. He knew nothing about this foe, and for all he knew, this robot could terminate him in one go. As Emperor looked around the area, he could see numerous vents he could hide in...perfect! He could ambush and hide in those things as a form of attack to try and wear down his robot counterpart little by little!

As the robot walked around the area, Emperor tried to get in a good listen to see what this thing had to offer. He could probably take this thing down in seconds, but he just had to see what was going on. He could just barely hear the robot speaking into a communicator of some sort.

"This is 3MP-3R0R, status report. Attacking weapon still on hand. No sign of intruders yet."

Emperor listened in on this. 3MP-3R0R was quite a handful, so he supposed he'd just call him 3MP. He then assessed the situation. The robot was talking to someone, and he had to find a way to defeat him...wait no, he needed to get that communicator off him! If anything, 3MP could report to L1-V3 (if he hadn't already) that there were intruders here! Sure, maybe L1-V3 could see the group anyway because of cameras or something, but they could never be too sure (actually, note to self to later find and destroy any cameras in the factory).

He sprung out from his hiding spot and dashed towards the robot. Unfortunately, he wasn't very quiet while doing so, and 3MP whipped around with a weapon in hand. 3MP fired a large blast from...not two enhanced enperry dualies, but a large laser gun. The green laser nearly hit Emperor, but simply skimmed his side as he dodge-rolled out of the way. He then dashed forwards in an attempt to shoot off the communicator, or at least break it...

Only to be blasted in the gut by the gun.

Cod, did that hurt.

Emperor was knocked back against the ground, stunned and unable to get back up fast enough. He tried to at least move out of the way, but 3MP approached him with the gun aimed at his face.

"Target locked. Status: stunned, low health. Ready to terminate for good."

Carp, Emperor had to get out of here before he was splatted! Looking around, he saw a small vent against the wall and dodge rolled towards it as best he could, then turning into a squid to hide inside. 3MP shot after him, but luckily did not manage to shoot Emperor as he made it in. 3MP then approached the vent, and Emperor knew that he had to move quickly. However, that injury from earlier left him at a serious disadvantage.

If he was caught, he was definitely going to be blasted to smithereens by that weapon. He had to use stealth or 3MP would destroy him in one go. Actually, that was what HE needed to do, destroy 3MP in one go. He scrambled away from the vent as quietly as he could in squid form, so by the time 3MP got to the vent, Emperor was nowhere near him. However, 3MP wasn't stupid.

"I know you're here, Inkling. You can't hide from me! I'll report you to the boss!"

Right, the communicator! Emperor forgot to turn that off! He found a pathway from the vent on the wall to a vent on the floor, and popped out behind 3MP. He needed to make this quick, because his injury would wear him down the longer he was there. 3MP reached up to his communication device, and that was when Emperor popped out behind him. He hoped this would work...
