"Get up this instant, Liza! You have twenty minutes until we leave!" my mother scram at me.

I sighed then got up. My head ached since I had slept for only four hours. Why, you ask? Well, let's just say that my idol is not that good in making his fans get enough sleep to live a day.

I took a shower then got dressed. I wore this sweatshirt that had "I really don't care." written on it in black ink. I put on some skinny jeans and my black Doc Martens then I was ready to go.

Since I woke up late, I ate in the car. Dad and I passed by McDonald's as he's the one who brings me to school. Mom has work by 10 AM, but she does chores at home so it's dad who brings me. My dad is a business man. He is busy as hell and I am thankful he makes enough time for me and the rest of the family.

"Are we there yet?" my younger sister, Marzia, asked.

"Patience is a virtue," my dad replied.

Our family is quite big. I have three sisters and two brothers. The reason why Marzia is the only one with me in the car is because we were both the last ones to finish so my two older brothers and older sister left us. My other sister has already graduated from Ateneo de Manila. My family's filled with smart asses, in case you haven't noticed.

It was exactly five minutes before first period when I got to school. I bid my father a goodbye while Marzia and I headed to the school's entrance.

I studied in this private school called McKinley Hill International School and Leadership Academy for Children, McKinley for short. Since I was in the high school department, my uniform was this white, long-sleeved, polo shirt with the logo of our school and then this plaid skirt, with dark blue as its main color and green for the lines, which was too short for my liking, but was long enough to not show my underwear whenever I bend. To top it off, we had this blue necktie. I loved it. My sister, however, wears the uniform as a whole piece. Take note that she's still in grade school, but is graduating this school year. She, like me, has this long-sleeved polo shirt, and instead of having a skirt, it was a jumper. There was this belt, the same color as the jumper. She also has this necktie inside of the jumper, outside the polo. It was just the first week of school so we were allowed to wear anything of our choice.

Marzia and I went to our separate ways. She headed to her homeroom while I did the same.

I was immediately greeted by my two best friends, Katherine and Luke. They both knew each other before they met me, but they made me feel as if we have known each other for forever. They were childhood best friends, which is why I usually tease them about how they would end up as a great couple in the near future. They would deny it as Luke already has his eyes on someone while Katherine is determined in focusing on her studies. I guess it really pays off as she's a straight 'A' student.

"What took you so long?" Luke asked me.

"Well, good morning to you, too," I replied sarcastically.

We sat down in our respective seats, where in I was beside them. Thank God I was in the middle, preventing them to talk to each other. Those two would usually end up in detention for excessive talking that it came to a point that they didn't even care at all. They even befriended the teachers handling them during detention.

That's Katherine Rodriguez and Luke Santiago for you.

Time slowly passed by. Seconds felt like minutes, minutes felt like hours, and hours felt like days.

The bell rang, signaling us that it was finally time for dismissal.

I hurriedly headed to the gym of the school. It is where Marzia and I usually meet since it's the one in the middle of the high school and grade school buildings.

On the way home, I checked my phone and turned on my cellular data. I quickly opened Twitter to see if Lucas, my idol, had tweeted anything.

When I got to his profile, his last tweet was still the one last night, or should I say morning.

I then checked my FaceBook account and just scrolled through my notification wall.

That was until one particular thing caught my eye.
