His mind drift into today's sunset, just several hours ago when he met his soulmate. It was dreamlike, but not like what he thought it would feel; because he was caught up in surprise, and everything seems to go into fast forward with so much adrenaline in his blood. It may went in a blink, but the memory -- the dry taste on his lips, the hot temperature due to him running to the fourth floor, the boiling anger that made him clenched his hands so hard, and the confession, the promise of Nishinoya Yuu to himself that has finally been told to the anxious senpai -- is engraved on his heart and his mind. It leaves him so deep in thought, while he was waiting for the cookies to be baked. He supposed to clean the mess -- in the kitchen and on himself -- and went to check the oven again, but he didn't. Instead of doing what he usually does, he just sat down on the wooden chair, letting his gaze up to the starry sky with floured hands that supports his mindful head.

Today is a milestone of his life. It was full with feelings, it was full of.. Questions that sent him wavering. And one of the biggest questions is,

If he can accept his soulmate as who they are, will they accept him too?

Will those pained chocolaty eyes will see him in a different way? Will the quivering pale lips, one day smile to him and say sweet, encouraging things? Will that towering body, protect him when he's in danger? Will he be there, if Yuu is there for him?

He shook his head, attempting to emptying his head from such egotistical questions. What's matter is him, his soulmate; not himself.

Yes, it was always someone else, not him.

He let a deep sigh, laying his head on his arm and silently cried. Just a bit more, just a little bit more, Yuu repeated to himself. He just need to hang on for a little while, and he can be just the way he is, he will surely get what he always wants; acceptance, and from the person he's destined to no less.
