I hit the alarm and hoped out of bed. I went in the bathroom and turned on the shower, I striped from my clothes and hoped in. I washed my body with my coco body washed and washed my hair. I rinsed and hoped out I went to my drawer and pulled out some underwear and a bra. I lotion my body and put on my clothes. Since to day it was raining I decided to go lazy and put on some sweats and a T-shirt

I went downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a bowel and poured me some fruity pebbles.I went in the living room and turned the TV to spongebob.

While I was watching TV I started thinking, that in a few day I want be in new york no more . I'll be in California going to college. I graduate from high school some months ago. My mom been kinda sad and keeps saying" my baby grown up" and all that stuff, but owell I ready to be on my own at college. My thoughts were interrupted by some one knocking on the door. It's probably my mom she always forgets her key when she's in a rush.

I got up and opened the door to see my best friend jasmine. I opened the door all the way so she could come in. She walked in and took off her coat and sat on the couch.

" dang girl it raining cats and dogs out there"

" I know that's why I been in the house all day" I said taking a seat on the couch. "what brings you by" I said facing her

"Dang I can't come over to see my bestie"

"Not when I'm relaxing, I just spent the last two days packing and I want some me time while my mom at work"

" attitude for what" she said rolling her eye

"I do not have a attitude I just want some me time"

"Fine I'll call you when I get off of work OK?" She said getting up

I got up and gave her a hug." Sorry for kinda kicking you out"

"It alright we all want some me time once in a while" she said while giving me one last hug and walking out the door.Well I'm not mean I just love when it rains it helps me relax. I ate the last little bit of cereal in my bowl and went to take it in the kitchen. When I came back I seen I had a call coming from my other best friend trey.

Trey:"Nani what time is the flight to California"

Nani:"It's at 8:30am"

Trey:"OK you got everything packed?"

Nani:"yes trey I got all my stuffed packed, you ready for the college life?"

Trey:"yeah, it sucks that were not going to the same college as jasmine"

Nani:"yea she said she wanted to go to college here in new York. To be close to family"

Trey:"yea,as much as I love talking to you I going to sleep we got a flight in a few days"

Nani:"it's like 1 something in the afternoon but OK"

Trey:"I spent all morning packing and now a nigga tired"
