*2 weeks later*

I woke up and got out of bed. I got the stuff I need to take a shower and walked down the hall to the showers. After I took my shower I went back to my dorm room. And got dressed. I put on some blue skinny jeans and a pink crop top and some some

pink j's. I put my hair in a high pony tail and put a pink head bead on. I put a little foundation and eye liner and some lip gloss on and I was on my way to class. When I got there I took a seat in the back and took out my notebook and pencil. The teacher came in and started his class.

*after class*

Me and tamica were at the mall to get something to wear for a party to night. We were in forever 21 looking throw clothes racks when I saw a cute red dress. I went in the dressing room to try it on. When I had the dress on I looked at myself in the mirror. The dress was short went about to my knees. The bottom of it was wavey and it had the back out it was the most prettiest dress I had seen and I had to have it. After I took the dress of and put my clothes back on I went to go find tamica. She was in the mirror looking at the outfit she was trying on. It was a black skirt with a pink half shirt that said "flawless" and some pink heels. Even though the outfit was kind of showy she still looked pretty. We paid for our stuff and went to the food court.

*at food court*

We were at the table eating our food when these cute ass Boy's started walking up to us. On the out side I might have looked all cool and shit. But I really was freaking out. One of the boys walked up to me he was tall, light skinned and had a little hair on his chin. Dame he is heaven.

"Hey ma what yo name?" he said with his new Orleans accent.

"My name Nani what's your?"

"August"

"That's a cool name"

"Thank, so how old are you?"

"18, you"

"19"

"Cool"

This was akward. I looked over and tamica and the other dude was walking off talking. Well then.

" so august, your not form here huh?"

"Nah, Im for new Orleans. You from down here?"

"Nah I'm form new York"

"Fareal, which part"

"Jersey"

" oh so you a jersey guah"

"Yeah"

"OK, why you in California?"

"College, why you down here"

" to start a new life I guess"

Me august tamica and august's friend Jamal were at the mall for about another hour or so. We asked august and Jamal if the wanted to come to the party with us and they said yes we exchanged numbers and said our goodbyes. We went back to the dorm to get dressed. I slipped on my dress and put on the black heels I bought and did my hair. I put my hair in a pony tail with the side burns out I curled them and started on my make up. I did a light foundation and a little eye shadow and a cat eye and some mascara and to top it off some lip gloss. I put my earrings in and put on my neckless. I spared some perfume on and look at my self in the mirror, I think I looked good, but I wasent sure. I sighed and went to go see if tamica was done.

She had on here outfit and here hair was straight with some Chinese bangs. She had on some pink eye shadow, eye liner, mascara, and some lip gloss. Dame my nigga was on point.

" you ready?" She asked

" yeah, just let me grab my phone and we can go"

I grabbed what I needed and we left. we got in here car and drove to our destination. It took us about 20 minutes to get there. When we got there it was packed cars every where. She fund a parking spot and we got out.

When we got in there people were dancing on each other, people were smoking, let's just say a lot was going on. I never new a college party would be like a high school one.

Me and tamica started to walk to a table full of girls. I'm guessing the one that invited us here. Tamica and the girl started to hug each other like they haven't seen each other in years.

" Nani this La'toya, la'toya this is Nani"

"Hi I'm so glad y'all could come to my party" la'toya said

"Yeah me to"

"Well have a seat, and have a drink" she said. I said OK and went in the kitchen to get a drink. I came back and sat down. The girls were smoking one of la'toya friends passed me the blut.

" oh I don't smoke" I said trying to pass it back.

" just try it, you look like you need to let loose" she said over the loud music

I looked at the blut and back at her. Well let's see how to night will go.
