BTS (방탄소년단) - Black Swan
Black Swan❚❚►_____________________________ 3:18
Jeongguk started to slowly not enjoy the idea of getting older anymore.
Turning eighteen for his peers means being of age, starting to be an adult, school ending soon, not being bound to parents anymore, being more free than ever.
But for him, he only sees the more responsibilies piling up, not having perspective as fast as he should have -- it also meant a speedy passing of time and with recent events, he didn't want it to fly by.
It honestly felt like the world was slowly but surely killing off his time with Taehyung, pressing a silver knife to it's throat with painful precision.
He woke up this morning with his regular nausea, dragging his sleepy body down the stairs expecting a normal family Saturday breakfast but being met with a decorated room and table, the number eighteen plastered everywhere, stack of rainbow sprinkled pancakes sitting at this regular space.
Gguk had honestly forgot about his birthday being a thing, he had focused on other things in his life.
Especially Taehyung's confession the day prior had taken all his attention away from the day of his birth.
He only remembers his soft lips and taste of vanilla coating his taste buds while being pressed to the wall of one of their classrooms, having a hand gliding over Tae's hair and nape.
All after felt like he was flying, like his mind was covered by a sticky pink cloud, hearts bubbling up in his chest, love bite on his neck and barely able to concentrate on getting fries and a milkshake with Hoseok.
And even when he dropped him off at home, Jeongguk still wasn't able to think straight, avoiding the eyes of his parents anywhere near his neck and rushing up the staircase, slamming his bedroom door shut and landing face first on his favorite cushion and soft mattress.
The whole hours prior felts surreal, like an unspokenly ridiculous dream.
How he went from hurting, crying and trying to keep a wall between his best friend and himself to feeling all fuzzy and shy when the slightly older spoke out the words of 'more than a friend'.
But Jeongguk had to keep it all toned down, thankful that he decided to throw on a pretty high necked grey hoodie before going downstairs.
For being his eighteenth, so far it felt like any other birthday he had celebrated the past few years.
