"Girls, are you sure you're going to be alright? You make sure Peggy doesn't get drunk, okay." Philip said wearily.
"Hey!" Peggy laughed.
"You're my last little baby, and I don't want you getting drunk when I'm not around."
"Don't be so worried, Dad. You know George. He won't let anything too terrible happen. Right El?" Angelica giggled from the front seat.
"Right!" Eliza replied, giggling too.

"I'm so excited for this party, John." Alex said as he drove down New Preston Avenue.
"Me too, I just hope that no girls try and grab our attention." John said sarcastically.
"Haha. I have a feeling that Eliza girl will be sitting in a corner staring at me all night. Hurcules told me she fancied me and that she's really quiet." Alex gritted his teeth.
"I do hope nothing too much happens tonight." John looked out of the window.

"I can't believe George invited Alex, I mean, what is he on?" Thomas grumbled to James.
"Mhhmm."
"I hope Aaron doesn't go off with him, I mean, he's quite unpredictable."

"Woo hoo!" Hurcules exclaimed. "Hamilcrew Party, here we come!"
"I am going to get so drunk. Trop ivre pour toi!" Marquis agreed.

"Bye Dad!" Angelica called after Philip as he drove away. "This is it girls, our first party all together." Angelica said confidently. Peggy rang the doorbell. A few seconds later, George answered the door.
"Hello Ladies, come on in!"
"Thanks George." Angelica smiled.
"Is anyone else here yet?" Eliza questioned.
"Nope, just us." George said.
"I can't wait for Charles to arrive, we've been looking forward to this party for weeks!" Angelica cried with delight.

Alex rang the doorbell.
"Hey lads!" George smiled. John and Alex stepped through the door.
"Anyone else here yet?" Alex asked.
"Just the sisters." George replied. John stopped. Alex grabbed his hand and they walked down George's grand hallway together.
"Hey girls..." Alex said awkwardly.
"Hey!" Angelica stood up and went over to Alex and John. Alex bent down and kissed Angelica's hand. Eliza stayed sitting and blushing. Angelica moved over to John. Everyone was staring at him.
"Um John, you're supposed to kiss her hand!" Alex whispered. Slowly, John bent down and kissed Angelica's hand. When he stood up he was so embarrassed that he turned away and ran out of the room. Alex shuffled out as well.

"John, John!" Alex called after John. John was racing down the hallway. He stopped. Alex caught him up and put his arms round him. John burst into tears.
"Oh John..." Alex said pitifully. "And I thought I was bad with girls." Peggy appeared in the doorway. The weeping had obviously been very volumised. She slowly came over to the boys. Alex was facing her way.
"What's going on?" She mouthed. Alex pointed to his hand, making it clear that John had NOT wanted to kiss Angelica's hand. Peggy was full of sympathy; she was like the third wheel of the relationship.

The doorbell rang.
"I've got it!" Alex shouted. He came away from John and answered the door. There on the doorstep were Marquis and Hurcules.
"Bonjour, Alex!" Marquis grinned. "Bonjour, Peggy! Bon- ... John?"
"John lighten up, man! It's time to partay!" Hurcules said, nudging him.
"Hey, leave him alone, guys. He just had to..." Alex couldn't finish.
"Had to what?" Marquis queried. Peggy walked over to him and whispered in his ear.
"Oh. Okay, well I'll make sure that no girls do to you again, John." Marquis said.
"Wait, someone banged you?" Hurcules asked.
"Really, Mug?" Alex laughed.

The five of them walked into the sitting room. There was an awkward atmosphere about the room.
"Charles should be here by now. He said he would be here at quarter past, and it's half past now." Angelica worried.
"In sure he'll be here soon, Angelica. Apparently there is traffic up on the North Hill." George explained. "Thomas and James are coming from that direction too."
