Everyone who attended the party was staying over at George's for the night. All the guests had been assigned rooms. However, Peggy and Hurcules, too drunk to remember where their rooms were, had ended up in Thomas' room. It was almost midnight, and everyone was starting to get tired. Marquis and Eliza had come back downstairs after a long chat of sobbing and venting on the landing. They knew that everyone would want to retire to their beds soon, so Marquis, being the braver one, turned down the music and banged on the table to get everyone's attention. Everyone went quiet.

"So... as you all know we have been assigned rooms to sleep in tonight. Eliza and I went looking for Hurcules and Peggy, and well... Je vais le laisser là." He stopped. Whispers filled the air. Angelica was fuming. She tried to get past but Eliza stopped her. "As I was saying, they are not in the right rooms."
"So whose room are they in?" John piped up, suddenly frightened. Marquis rubbed his forehead.
"They are in Thomas' room."
"I guess they're too young for this kind of larking about." Thomas sighed.
"So you can sleep in either of their rooms." Marquis said.

Everyone crept quietly across the landing. They all went the loo, did all the stuff they needed to do and then went to bed. It was not a peaceful night. Eliza couldn't sleep. She was so worried about Peggy, and what Dad would say, if he found out. If. At around two am, she wandered next door to Angelica's room. As Eliza had expected, Angelica was awake.
"Hey." Angelica sat up in her bed and turned on the light. "Climb in." Eliza snuggled up with her in bed.
"I didn't think you'd be asleep." Eliza pointed out.
"Neither did I." Angelica agreed. Silence.
"I thought you'd be angry at me and send me away." Eliza admitted, a little embarrassed.
"I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed."
"I know. I'm so sorry."
"No, not at you silly. At Peggy. Not only get drunk, but lose her v card on the same night? If Dad finds out, he will never talk to her again. So I'm disappointed in her, but also worried for her. She's our sister; we've got to look out for her, but not side with her."
"I guess. Let's just hope Dad doesn't find out." Eliza said, surprised that Angelica really wasn't angry.

"I was only angry because of Charles." Angelica choked up. Eliza held her sister tight.
"Oh Angelica..." Eliza, pitiful, snuggled under the covers with Angelica.

The next morning. Angelica and Eliza lay awake. All of a sudden, a huge scream came from across the landing. Everyone else heard it too. They had all been waiting for it. Sounds of screaming and shouting filled the house.
"Why are you in here?"
"I don't know, I thought you were a horse?"
"Are you kidding me? That's your excuse?"
"I don't know...?!"
"Well I'm never speaking to you again. This doesn't mean anything. This is a fricking one-night-stand."
"I'm sorry!"
"Just because I'm a virgin and you've had sex with loads of other women doesn't mean you can to take away my v card!"

Peggy raced to the bathroom, crying. Once she had shut herself in there, everyone poked their heads out of their doors. They were all a bit confused about Eliza and Angelica in the same room. Marquis tiptoed out and disappeared into 'the room'.
"It's okay, she will be okay. Every woman is like this when it happens first." Marquis said, sighing.
"Yeah but why do I always do this? I'm a flipping creep. Just kill me now."
"Hurcules please don't say that. Don't turn into depressed freak. S'il vous plaît?"
