*Quick note. Unless I state otherwise it will always be Arias POV.
[Cheer]
"Come on Aria! Harder, faster, more sexy! We cannot go to nationals like this. You girls need to pull you act together." My coach Ms Wilson screams at us.
I begin to redo the routine ending with Steph landing on the floor. We really do need to up our game. She looks up at me unsure as I wink at her with reassurance.
My girls aren't going to get anywhere with coach screaming at us all practice.
She has to be put in place, I think to myself as I watch her yelling at my best friend for something that was a fucking juniors fault.
"Everyone just leave. Go home and get some rest. Tomorrow everything has to be on point okay. Every last detail." Wilson says as she walks away from the field towards the school buildings.
I run up behind Steph, "Hey you, you okay? You did take quite a fall." I say as I look at her with concern. Coach is such a cunt sometimes.
"Nah, I'm okay. I just need some McDonald's right now." She smiles at me hopefully.
I will forever wish that I had this girls matabilism. She eats as though she's about to die and still never gains any weight. Her body is to die for.
"Fine I'll get you some, on condition you help me trash Wilsons office tonight." I stare at her waiting for her response.
While she contemplates on her decision I hear someone screaming my name from across the field. I turn around and I see Bradley.
"Hey Ari, wait up." He screams while jogging over to us.
Bradley Kliever. Captain of the swim team as well as my ex boyfriend. We still have a fling every now and then but other then that we don't really speak.
I mean if I was a guy and I looked like that then I wouldn't really need to.
"Hey babes. We still up for tonight?" He asks me as he shakes his slightly wet hair. He smelt like chlorine indicating that Coach Miller probably gave them a gruelling session as well.
Oh crap I completely forgot about tonight.
"Um, I don't think I can make it for dinner but if you come over at eleven tonight then I have some really good ideas that we could put to use." I say to him as seductively as possible.
Stephany looks at me with a warning.
"I'd love to." As he kisses my cheek left and runs off.
"You have to stop leading him on Ari. He's going to get hurt and you can't stop that. It needs to end hun."
Ugh. How did I know that she was going start going on about this. We don't like one another. That's what makes it so perfect. No strings attached.
"Okay Steph. I hear you."
Let's just go get food already.
