Damian's pov

Patrol with Jason is no walk in the park. Not is living with him. Though, overtime, I've adjusted. Yes I love with him now. Ever since father pulled that stunt back in book one (Well there goes the fourth wall. I need some repair men/women over here!), Jason refused to let me live with Batman.

Grayson tried to coax me into living with him. Although I trust Grayson, Jason did save my life and I didn't want to move out to Bludheaven. So I stayed with the one and only Red Hood.

Father technically never told me I wasn't Robin anymore. So I stuck with Robin because after some convincing from my brothers, I believe I was still cut out to be Robin. That and to piss Father off.

If you think about it, Robin and Red Hood doesn't sound that bad. Not the same as Batman and Robin but it still works more or less.

"Robin, hey dude, pay attention. Stop brooding." Red Hood said in his robotic sounding voice. I rolled my eyes.

"You're one to talk." I snapped. Red Hood crossed his arms.

"Don't give me that attitude young man." He mocked. I scoffed and crossed my arms.

After we had thrown a few guys in jail and Red Hood had shielded my eyes from him shooting someone even though I told him I've done it myself before, he decided it was time throw the towel in for the night. I was not pleased with this decision.

"C'mon Red Hood! One more hour!" I begged. Red Hood shook his head.

"No birdie. Now hurry up. You're so slow." He said. I sighed and accelerated my speed. Within minutes, we had reached the safe house. We made our way inside through the window.

"Go take a shower Damian. You're all sweaty." Jason said, removing his helmet, his voice returning to normal. "I don't want you on my furniture like that."

"Jason, you practically bathe in your own pools of sweat every time you put that suit on. When was the last time you even washed it?" I retorted. Jason opened his mouth then closed it.

"Just go shower. I'll figure out dinner." He said, waving me off. I smirked, knowing I had won the argument. I hurried into the bathroom. I peeled off my suit. I tossed it in the washer/dryer.

My new suit is a lot like my Robin suit but with less green and yellow and was mostly red and black. It also had no cape because Jason said as long as I lived with him, called were a huge no-no. But it did have a hood which I was happy with.

I began running the water as I gathered my body wash and hair products. I set them on a ledge and made sure I had a clean towel before I hopped in.

I was in the middle of washing my hair when the door opened. I shrieked and covered myself.

"Jason!" I yelled. "A little privacy!?" Jason laughed and I glared.

"Sorry demon, just thought I'd let you know I was gonna make a quick run to the grocery store. I'll be back in half and hour." He said. I nodded and showed him out. I huffed and continued rinsing out the conditioner.

I finished my shower five minutes after the little incident. I stepped out and wrapped the towel around my lower half. I hurried into my room and pulled on a pair of black track pants and a loose grey t-shirt.

I went back into the bathroom and hung my towel. I pulled my suit out from the washer/dryer. There were a few tears in it. I pulled out the sewing kit we kept for patching up clothing and suits since we don't have an Alfred. I got comfortable on the couch and started my work, humming softly.

After fifteen minutes or so, I had the suit patched up quickly. I quickly pulled off my sweats and slipped it on. I looked at the mirror Jason and in the halls that he used to "check himself out" and saw the patch up was pretty well done.

There was a small beeping noise.

I furrowed my brow and grabbed a mask from my utility belt, putting it on. Suddenly, green gas began bursting from the carpet. I covered my mouth and began coughing violently.

I removed my hands to brace myself against the couch. I continued to violently cough, unable to breathe properly. The gas curled up in my lungs and despite my wishes, I collapsed. My vision was fading in and out.

There was a ringing in my ears. It grew louder as my vision became more blurred. I struggled to keep my eyes open. Soon, I gave up. I inhaled sharply before the world when black and I fell unconscious.
