First Day

As my father had predicted either by recommendation or the traditional entry exam, I would be accepted into UA and he was immensely proud of that. He was also very pleased that I ranked number 1 on the exam overall he was also very happy that I got a high amount of hero points.

The only thing he wasn't so happy about was my homeroom teacher. He explained that my homeroom teacher wasn't the biggest fan of him and he's constantly critical of the fact that father is both underground and mainstream. And that he's always trying to challenge or one up my father. But there's nothing you can really do about it. Father also warned that he'll probably give me hell for being his son.

The morning was essentially the same as the day of the entrance exam. Except I changed into the traditional UA uniform. And that after breakfast he had something to give me.

"I took a look at your costume and it's alot like one of my old ones. I'm betting you took inspiration from it, so I'm giving you one of these to wear with it," he said as he handed me a mask like his.

"It's really useful during combat or training especially it protects your face from debris and filters out the air so you breath clean air," he then gave me one of his closed eye smiles.

"I guess it's kinda cool now that I know that," I told him.

He then dropped me off at the front gate and I made my way into the building, looking for class 1A.

I then found it and walked in. To say the least it was rather chaotic. I quietly and quickly made my way to the very back and sat to the right of a boy with dual colored. I sat next to him because he seemed to be quiet and reserved unlike some of the others.

For the remainder of homeroom I remained quiet and expressionless until our homeroom teacher entered and scolded everyone for being far too loud.

Our teacher who briefly introduced himself as Shouta Aizawa, then began taking roll. I studied his expressions until he got to my name. He had frowned and made a irritated face as he said my name, m/n Hatake.

"We're going to take a quirk apprehension test so I can get a good sense of what extent you all have mastered your quirks. So change into your gym uniforms and meet me outside."

A/n for reference there's an extra seat in the back between Todoroki and Satou. That's where m/n is seated.
