I stared at the phone for a good 10 minutes wondering why would my mama call me I thought she said she would never wanna speak to me again. I thought she hated me cause I got pregnant. I don't know it was just so many thoughts going in and out of my head. I didn't know if I wanted to call back or not. I looked at Chris as he was texting someone on his phone "Who you texting?" I cleared my throat He looked at me and said "My lil sister, she wants me to take her to Kalahari but I ain't going to no damn Kalahari." He shrugged "Why you look so lost baby?" He asked me I swear Chris always knew when I was sad, mad, angry, even when I was blank he knew "I got a miss call from my mama" I said while looking at my pretty white toes "That's a good thing right?" "I don't Know Chris I don't even know if I wanna call her back or not" I exclaimed "Call her back" he shrugged and left out the room I looked at my phone and hesitated to press her contact It rung 2 times half of the third ring she picked up "Hello?" She spoke into the phone "Hey.. ummm you called me?" I asked "Yes I did Kayla" she said and she said my government so I knew she wanted sum I huffed into the phone and took a deep breath "Kayla you need to come home." She said sounding disappointed "Mama how you gone tell me I need to come home and you kicked me out of the house! I'm not about to deal with your unnecessary bull-shit cause if I step a foot in that house all you gone do is put pressure on me and to be honest mama I don't need that type of energy around me or my child." I spoke all in one breath "Kayla listen just come home everyone misses youand Stacey never listens to me she just think she can do what she want and I miss you the house without you and voni is plain baby! Just come home." She said I didn't say anything "Where are you?" She asked "Kentucky." "What the hell you doing in Kentucky" she spoke into the phone sounding irritated now "We came down here to visit miracle mom, we will be home today tho" I said rolling my eyes "So do that mean you and voni are coming home?" My mom asked "I'll think about it mama" "Okay I love you and tell your sister I love her too" "Love you too mommy" with that I hung up the phone and as soon as I hung up Chris came in the room with a glass of water "You called her?" He asked with curiosity "Yeah and it went okay I guess" He shrugged it off and came up to me and pick me up off the bed and rolled me on top of him. "Baeeeeee" I whined "What girl?" He asked unbuttoned my shirt "We have to pack to get ready to head back home we need to leave in about a hour" i exclaimed he huffed and lift up and kissed me u rolled over on the bed and looked out the window I was wondering should I go back home or should I not ?
