Josuke told Okuyasu to pack his stuff, and that he'd be outside. In all reality, he had to take a breather. He had always had a crush on Okuyasu, well, it started around whenever they were looking for Kira and it only got stronger as they worked together to take out other stand users. Now that Kira was gone.. well.. not much happened in Morioh, not in a bad way of course. There was just nothing that had to do with using stands. In fact, just yesterday he had used Crazy Diamond to punch a goose that was chasing him, and of course he got thoroughly scolded by Jotaro, he said 'geese may not be as interesting as some animals (referring to dolphins probably) but they are still living. Have some respect Josuke!' However, thats probably enough info to get that Josuke really liked Okuyasu and after hearing him rant about how being gay is weird and he would never do something like that.. he was feeling a little dizzy.

He slammed his back against the wall with a loud sigh. "Why can't things just be easy for once." he said under his breath. "If only I were a girl." he crossed his arms.

"why do you want to be a girl..?"

Josuke jumped back and gasped. Good thing he hadn't said he had a crush on Okuyasu out loud, because the man himself was standing right behind him with a bag thrown over his shoulder, and a strange look on his face. "um.. well.. you see.." he stuttered. "Because then.. maybe Rohan wouldn't hate me..?" he reached for that one.

Okuyasu started laughing pretty hard. "You know that would never happen right?" he wiped a tear from his eye. "He hates your guts bro!!"

Josuke nodded, unable to laugh because his heart was pounding so hard in his chest. "So are we going or not? I still don't know if my mom's gonna say yea y'know.." he teased Okuyasu by flicking his chin. "Wha- hey but you said-!"

Josuke started running towards his house. "She's sure to say no if you're not there when I ask her!" he yelled behind him, secretly hoping it would take Okuyasu a few seconds to comprehend what that meant. Sure enough it did.

He scrambled towards his house's front door, until he felt himself being pulled backwards. 'that jerk-' he begun to conspire, however his thoughts were rudely interrupted whenever he crashed into Okuyasu. Turns out erasing space in between two people while running forwards into said space was actually a bad idea. They both let out a pained holler as they slammed into eachother. Josuke had only lost consciousness for a few seconds, which felt like a few hours. Whenever he opened his eyes he was on top of Okuyasu, who was still out cold. He imagined what people saw whenever they looked at two tall guys on top of each other, unconscious. He stammered up, his face entirely red, and used Crazy Diamond to wake Okuyasu up. He saw the boys face re-position. "ugh... Josuke?" Okuyasu stammered, standing up clumsily. "Last thing I saw was your entire ass hit me in the face.. felt like I broke my nose.." He rubbed his face.

"M..My ass..? Ah, well, anyways.. I used Crazy Diamond to fix your face, it didn't look too bad, but it sounded bad enough to send you to the hospital." He gushed out, trying to ignore the fact his face was blazing hot.

Okuyasu laughed. "YeA!! I accidentally swiped too low and brought you ass first!"

Josuke squinted at him, since he couldn't tell if Okuyasu was joking or not. before Okuyasu could make any embarrassing jokes, Josuke's mom popped out, looking horrified. "I thought I saw you two just.. crash into each other all of a sudden!" she frowned, running outside. "Are you okay? I'm not even gonna ask how it happened, just tell me if you're okay."

"Yea mom, we're fiiine." Josuke rolled his eyes.

His mom gave him a look that said something like 'don't have that tone with me'. "Well maybe I'll just stop asking, you haven't seen a hospital since you were quite young anyways." She said, her tone was sour.

Josuke sighed. He told Okuyasu that he was going to go in and apologize to his mother before she got even more upset with him.

It turned out that Okuyasu was allowed to stay, which was sort of a relief. "You two need to stop roughhousing so much." his mom began to lecture. "I know you boys are usually careful, but I swore I heard a loud crack!"

Josuke scratched the back of his head, knowing she would keep on talking until he said something kiss-ass like. "Yea yea.. I know mom,, but you don't have to worry about us, we're fine, see?" He said, pointing to Okuyasu and then himself.

She stared at them for awhile and sighed. "Next time I see something like that happen, I will ground you, just because you're a highschooler doesn't mean I can't." She said, then walked into the kitchen, leaving them in the living room.

"Your mom's a beauty, you know?" Okuyasu laughed. "Even when she's spitting mad she still has a subtle charm about her."

Josuke turned to look at him with a frown. "You really have to stop talking about my mom like that."

Before long the two were playing video games, talking about school, and even getting in small fights, but these were the things Josuke and Okuyasu always did, and even if their fights would carry on forever, it was kind of relieving to be able to yell out all your stress. Soon enough, it was 4 am and they were both laying in the same bed, since Josuke had a big enough bed to fit 2 people. After Josuke announced he was going to bed a long pause of silence ensued the room.

"Hey Josuke..." Okuyasu rolled over to look at the other boy. "Are you awake?"

"It's been 20 seconds, what do you think?" he retorted.

Okuyasu was silent for a few moments, so Josuke rolled over to look at him as well. "What is it." he asked.

He couldn't see much, but what he could see, was Okuyasu fiddling with his blanket. "Well.. I know we've been talking 'bout this a lot today and.. How do you know if someone is gay?" He looked Josuke in the eyes. "The girls in the manga looked totally normal and run of the mill."

Josuke started chuckling. "Maybe you're gay, since ya keep asking so many questions about it and all."

Okuyasu's face got all red. "Bro.. I never thought of that.. What if I am?" he sounded panicked. "Is that why no girls give me chocolate on Valentines Day?"

"Do they think I'm gay??"

Josuke couldn't stop giggling. Okuyasu wasn't very smart, (neither was Josuke in fact) but whenever he'd freak out about small things like this, it was super funny, and maybe even a little cute. Well, unless Okuyasu was about to beat someone up, then Josuke would always have to step in. "Well I mean, guys never give you chocolate either so, maybe not."

Okuyasu paused. "Wait.. but you always give me chocolate, you give me chocolate on White day too." He said, squinting at Josuke.

"pFFT- well yea! Because you never give me chocolate on Valentines day and plus I feel kinda bad." he muttered trying to lower his voice.

Okuyasu started smiling at him, which was concerning to say the least. "Wow Josuke.. what a coincidence." Okuyasu lifted his head up and rested it on his hand. "I've never seen you give chocolate to anyone else except for me.."

Josuke felt his heart start to race. "C'mon bro.. hah.. you know I just don't have any crushes." He lied as best as he could. It was honestly the truth, because he wasn't crushing on any girls. "Plus I usually don't have enough money to get chocolate for everyone, so I end up giving you something." He muttered.

"Oh.." Okuyasu trailed off "maybe if I say I'm gay, all the girls will like me, since you do act kind of gay sometimes Josuke!"

Okuyasu was laughing his head off, well, as much as a teen could at 4 am. Josuke on the other hand, could hardly breathe. He coughed out a few shaky laughs. "Don't even say that!" He said, mostly fueled by anxiety "You know I'm not gay, dumbass."

As they both started to fall asleep a few minutes later, Josuke couldn't help thinking to himself. 'What if Okuyasu did tell everyone he was gay..' he started feeling even more guilty by the second 'Then maybe he'll see me as more than a friend.. but just maybe anyways.'

'It'll probably never happen though.'
