Josuke woke up, and realized Okuyasu wasn't in his bed anymore. He frantically looked around the room to try and find him, but to his dismay, he couldn't find his baseball faced friend.

He ran downstairs and looked at his mom, while (out of habit) brushed his hair to get it to stay like it always did. "Hey mom, where's Okuyasu?" He called, noticing her making breakfast downstairs.

It was a school day, so he was also worried about being late, let alone finding his missing guest. "Well, he told me he had to get to school early to do something, and he didn't want to wake you up since you looked so happy in your sleep." She started chuckling.

"Well I do need my beauty rest" he growled, while walking back to the stairs to change.

"I'm sure he went home, he only left like 10 minutes ago, maybe you can meet him at the school if you hurry."

And hurry he did. Josuke spent the most time on his hair, making sure not even a strand was out of place, then he started changing. He put on his usual yellow undershirt along with his baggy pants and his unmistakable uniform.

As soon as he was ready he darted out the door, not even stopping to eat. However, he did say bye to his mom.

As soon as he got to school, he was out of breath. Luckily he saw Okuyasu talking to Koichi. He snuck up to them behind a few crowds of students walking into school. "Yea.. I tried to get here early but look where that got me." Okuyasu said, scratching the back of his head.

"Well you're earlier than you usually are." Koichi smiled,"it's a step up from being late everyday."

"Well today is special for me." Okuyasu said, his voice high strung and proud sounding.

'What on earth could he possibly be doing?' Josuke pondered, his heart thumping in his chest.

His quietly conceived question was answered within moments, as Okuyasu announced loudly, "Today is the day.. I confess to my crush!"

Josuke tripped over himself, too caught off guard, he landed with a loud thump, almost hitting the kids in front of him. He heard a bunch of girls gasping and coming over towards him. 'Now he's gonna know I overheard him.. maybe he just didn't trust me knowing who his crush was.'

"Josuke-San, are you okay? Oh no it looks like you hit yourself on the head really hard.." he recognized the voice of the school nurse. He had been pretty lucky she was coming into school at the same time as him.

He grumbled something, starting to feel dizzy. "Is that Josuke?" He heard Koichi ask, running over towards him.

But before he could look up to see Koichi, his vision faded to black.

Koichi sat in the nurses office with Josuke, hoping he would wake up. "It looks like he bonked himself really hard." The nurse walked over to the bed Josuke was in.

"He must have heard something that really startled him for how hard he slipped.. it doesn't look like he twisted his ankle or stepped wrong, just pure clumsiness." She finished her analysis.

Koichi was thinking pretty hard about that for a moment, whenever he realized that something was off. "I swore I heard someone fall down right after Okuyasu announced he was confess-" he paused to stop himself as the nurse gave him a strange look.

'It's not a very logical conclusion but.. what if Josuke...'

Josuke opened his eyes, Jotaro was sitting there with Koichi. Surprisingly, he didn't look annoyed. 'Probably because he has a thing for reliable guys'
