Exploring

Its 3:27 am and you wake up absolutely freezing,  even though your in a hoodie and under two blankets.  You get up and go check the thermostat to find that its been set to 47°F. 
"Who the fu*k had it so damn cold in here" you whisper to your self.  You then turn it up to your normal 74°F. 
"There,  it should warm up now. "
Thats when you hear your brothers door open,  you look over to see him wrapped up in a blanket and shivering.  
"I was coming to check -" you cut him off and finish his sentence.
"The thermostat,  yeah it was at 47°F.  I have no idea why.  But I set it to 74.
Well,  I'm going back to bed now.  Gn."
"Night"
You walk back into your room and realize your phone is on your floor and dead.  So you plug it in and go back to sleep. 

-10:17 AM-
Its 10:17 and your already awake.  Your alarm clock goes off at 10:25. So you hit the dismiss button early. 
Your board and wanna go do something.  But since you only just moved it there is no WiFi and your running low on datafor your phone.   So you decide to make breakfast then go skating on your long board. 
For breakfast you make some instant oatmeal on the stove with apple juice for your drink.  You prefer apple juice over orange juice in the mornings, you just don't like the taste of orange juice.  Never known why.
After you eat you go brush your teeth and hair, throw on a full tank binder,  black T-Shirt,  a pair of black ripped up jeans with a chain. And your black and white vans.  You then grab your board and walk out the door. 
Even though the neighborhood is new,  its not very big either.  So you kinda find your way around.  You go up jasmine st.  And turn right onto maple Dr.  After a while you get tired and take a break,  sitting on the side of the street on your board when a random guy skates by and smiles at you.
You catch notice of his red and black plaid flannel,  black poofy slicked back hair that has been dyed red on the ends,  And his red and white worn out converse. 

Instant crush. On a guy you don't even know. 
After your little ride you decided to head back home.  It was almost noon and Josh was probably awake by now. 

You started skating back towards the house when that same kid skated past you again.  This time though he skated with you.   you were kinda confused but at the same time your heart was pounding. 

"Hey" his voice came across so smooth and sweet.
"Oh!  Hi" you tried not to stutter.
"You must be the new kid that just moved in down on Axel st? "
"Y-yeah.  I got here yesterday."
"I kinda figured.  Well this is my stop.  See you around. " he got off his board and walked up the drive way.  You realize you had not gotten his name. 
"Wait! What's your name?! " you shouted out. 
"Oh yeah!  Its camdyn! Camdyn grey.  What about you? "
"I'm y/n!  Y/n l/n"
"Well nice meeting you,  y/n"
Then he walked inside.  And that was the last you saw of him for the remainder of the weekend.
Once you got home you walked right past your brother on the couch,  up the stairs and into your room without a single word.  You were scared it might be something like. 'Oh I saw this cute kid with black and red hair. '
So you just kept your mouth shut and went to your room.
