EXT. VICTORIAN HOUSE - FRONT YARD - NIGHT
Black metal gates enclose a large land space with an old-fashioned Victorian home plotted in plain sight.
The air is warm, stiff, and beyond humid for anyone to be stuck indoors without air conditioning.
Standing still, checking his watch, DOMINIC ORTEZ (Dom, 19), sensible, loyal, yet holds a reputation for playing it safe.
Approaching, NATHAN MORRIS (Nate, 19), adventurous, and has a knack for getting into trouble and seeking help from his partner in crime, Dominic.
DOM: "Where's your new friend?"
NATE: "He'll show."
Walking up, PHILIP LANES (Phil, 19), a self-centered and thinks only about himself daps Nate, leaves Dominic rolling his eyes at him.
PHIL: "So, we doing this or what?"
DOM: "This is a bad idea. Why do we need to be apart of a frat house?"
NATE: "You gotta stop playing it safe all the time, Dom."
PHIL: "Yeah, live a little."
DOM: "This house has a bad reputation."
PHIL: "What's wrong? You're not afraid of old-man, Knox, are you?"
NATE: "Legend has it, Knox was always a sucker for knock, knock jokes and if you didn't play along, he would go out of his way to make sure you did."
DOM: "Nate, let's just go."
PHIL: "You love-birds can do what you want, but I'm going."
DOM: "Where are the frat leaders anyways? Didn't they say they were gonna meet us here?"
NATE: "They're at a sorority party."
PHIL: "Which will be us after tonight. It will be non-stop partying with some of the hottest girls this college has to offer."
NATE: "Phil's right. It's one night and a bunch of girls after that."
Dominique glares at the house, noticing a CROW on the gate, CROWING.
