You knocked on the front door of Bakugou's house.
"Oh, (Name) you're here?" Mitsuki frowned. "Katsuki's not home at the moment."
'HE REALLY LEFT?!' You were in shock.
"I had him go buy me some groceries just now. He didn't tell me that the two of you were going on a date."
"We're going to meet up with our classmates at the mall!" You informed her as you shook your head. "It's not a date."
"I see." She nodded.
"Is it okay to send him by himself?" You wondered, looking behind you at the gate.
"Yeah, he's a pretty decent cook despite his attitude." She reassured you. "But... I'm not sure if he can tell the difference between soybeans and chickpeas..."
"What?" You were dumbfounded.
"Do you mind helping him out?" She asked. "He literally just left the house. He headed to the grocery store just a block that way." Mitsuki pointed further down the street.
"Leave it to me!" You agreed to help her out.
"Thank you!"
You ran as fast as you could down the street and into the grocery store.
As you walked around the large market, you spotted a familiar ash-blonde.
"Katsuki!" You pounced on him from behind.
"What the fuck?!" He yelled, trying to shake you off. "Why are you here?"
"Your mom told me to help you!" You informed him. "Now, what are you shopping for?"
Katsuki handed you a list of ingredients and explained what he had bought already. There were only three things total on the list.
"So just soybeans left?" You asked curiously.
"Got a problem?!" The boy yelled out of embarrassment. "Soybeans and chickpeas look the same, dammit!"
"Look!" You held up the two beans. "Chickpeas are like you, they're a little bigger and rougher. Soybeans are smaller and more smooth."
"I can be smooth!" The boy retorted.
You bursted out laughing at this. "Okay, okay."
"Just put 'em in the basket and let's go already." Bakugou ordered you.
"Yeah, yeah." You scooped some soybeans into a bag and put them in the basket.
Bakugou checked out quickly and walked back to his house with you in tow. As soon as he got to the door, he saw a note taped to it.
'We went out. Put the ingredients in the fridge and have fun on your date! -Mom.'
"Stupid old lady!" Bakugou ripped off the piece of paper and led you inside. "It's not a date if there are dumbasses all around us."
As Bakugou stowed the ingredients, you took the chance to explore the house.
"Hey Katsuki, show me your room." You demanded.
"I don't want to." The boy crossed his arms.
"Why not~?" You whined. "Is it on the second floor?" You asked, pointing to the corresponding door.
"Even if it was, I wouldn't tell you." He stated.
"How mean~" You feigned sadness.
"So what time do we have to be there?" Bakugou asked, placing the receipt on the counter.
