I went downstairs to see 3 unknown boys in my dining room. I slowly entered the room and saw the cute boy's face just a few metres away from me,and I suddenly felt butterflies in my stomach. Just then the door of my house was knocked a couple of times. I ran to the door and opened to see my two other gang members, Melanie and Daniella.
"Whats up girl!!!!" said both of them in sync.
Christy ran up beside me and pulled both Melanie and Daniella inside. All of us suddenly turn around to meet with four cute boys face to face. My mom started introducing the boys to us. I found out that my new neighbour's name is Mark Jones and that the other boys were Adam, Derek and Nathan. Right away Christy turned stiff and was staring at Adam while Melanie and Daniella were trying to act cool in front of Derek and Nathan. For me, I just act like myself in front of them especially Mark, I've got the feeling that he is not human at all.
"Hi names Adam. Whats your name?" said Adam making his way to Christy slowly.
"I'm Christy and I'm 16." she held out her hand in front of Adam and started to shake his hand.
"Hey I'm 16 too. Actually we all are."
"Cool same as we girls. Oh by the way the names Daniella and the girl beside me is Melanie." said Daniella jumping into the conversation.
Wow. It took only about 15 minutes for us to get to know each other. We are now in the living room trying to have a teenage conversation which my mom think is people of the different gender finding their 'soulmates'. Yeah right, like I will find mine. I dont believe in those kind of rubbish except when it comes to reading books of course. Hours have passed and it was 10 pm when suddenly someones phone started ringing. Mark and I quickyly grab our phones. Wait a minute! Mark has a same ringtone as I do, now that is really freaky. Well it was indeed our phones and I anwsered mine and it was Thea our mentor. She is the one that trains me and my friends to become hunters. I'm training to become a vampire hunter, while Christy is a werewolf hunter, Melanie witch hunter and Daniella shapeshifter hunter. We started becoming hunters at the age of 12.
" Talk to me.....Okay we'll be there." I ended the conversation.
" What's wrong?" Melanie asked while the others were staring at me uncomfortably.
" We gotta go it's an emergency. Sorry boys but we have to cut our conversation short."
All of us quickly grab our things. I kiss my mom on the cheek goodbye. As we were outside, at the corner of my eye, I saw Mark and his gang leaving my house too. ' Are there stalkers or something' I thought. We got on our bikes and head our way to the same route we would go everynight.
The route that we took was quiet as always. We went through the thick tree and bushes. In the end we have arrived to our secret hideaway. We found this place at the age of 9. I was walking with my friends and we saw this beautiful place. Since that day we decided that it will be our own secret hideaway. After 30 minutes of riding on our bikes, we finally arrived.
"Finally you guys are here." Thea looks cross for some reasons.
" Come on! It is a long route." Christy was complaining as usual.
" So, why did you call us for?"
" Yeah, there was a party at Jane's"
" This is more important than the party. One of our enemies found out our true identity. So, I'm asking you all to be careful and dont worry about it. I can settle in a few minutes tops. Now let's do some training."
" Okay!" All of us did the thumbs up.
The training went well and I'm getting more stronger and powerful every minute. Christy is getting more cuter somehow, Melanie is getting to be more invisible and Daniella is getting more quicker. We all decided to get some rest. I then decided to get a glass of water. As I entered the hideaway, Thea's phone rang. Thea anwsered it and through the sound of her voice, it didnt sound so well.
" DONT U DARE CALL ME AGAIN YOU BASTARD!!!!!!!" Thea ended the call and slammed her phone on the table.
" Who is the bastard that you are talking about?" I said leaning against the doorframe.
" O..um.. nobody his is just a rival that I hate the most." I could see Thea clenching her fist till her knuckles were white.
After I got my drink and drank it, I quietly left the hideaway and took the route that was to my left. As I was at the end of the route, I pushed some bushes out of the way in order to see my secret door. I unlocked the door and went inside to my secret garden and training spot. The grass were greener, flowers were dark coloured and the lake reflects the beautiful night sky.
All of the sudden I saw a boy, I think around my age was standing opposite of the lake where I could see him at my end of the lake. He was looking up at the full moon and he was kind of cute too. ' Arghhhh! what is wrong with me?!' I was freaking out of my mind. Instead I shouted at him.
" Hey! Who are you and what are you doing here?!"
As he heard my voice, he quickly disappered and huge amount of wind came towards me. I could have sworn that I smelled blood and a vampire. It really is a mysterious night.
