Summer is finally here and school is out. Time to have fun . My life is like a rollercoaster, it always has its ups and downs. So this is how my summer starts.
"Jane wait up!"
" What's up Christy?" I turned around to see my bestfriend running towards me.
" Do you have any plans tomorrow night?" asked Christy with a cheery face.
"No, why you asked?" I giggle to the question as Christy always comes to my house without any need to me.
"Since its the first day of summer tomorrow, can I come to you place tomorrow night?"
"Sure why not." I replied with a smile.
"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you..." she hugged me tightly and left.
After Christy left, I went straight home. It took me about 30 mins by walk. I unlock my front door and quickly went upstairs to my bedroom. I changed into my sweat shirt and pants. My alarm clock on my desk says that its already 4.50pm. Omg! I only had about 1 hour and 10 mins to do my summer homework which I want to finish now rather than doing it last minute. I took my drama, math, science, english and lectreture homework out and quickly tried to finish it.
Suddenly I heard a knock on my door. It was my mom telling me that I have about 20 mins till dinner. I stopped half way and went downstairs to eat dinner. This was the first time that i ever saw my dad came home early. When I reached the dinning table, I gave dad a quick hug and sat opposite of my brother, Blake and my sister, Synthea. Blake is in his second year of college and Synthea is in her senior year in high school. Blake and Synthea's school isnt far from home so, Blake never sleeps in the dorms.
"So how is school today?" dad asked breaking the peaceful silent.
"It was okay.The teacher's gave too much homework for summer vacation."
"Have you finished them yet?" mom's turn to ask.
"Almost." I replied.
" That's good." dad answered with a proud tone.
"Okay I'm done, I'm going upstairs to finish my homework."
"Alright sweetheart." (Mom)
I put my dirty dishes in the sink and went upstairs. By the time I'm done with my homework it was 8.40pm. It was passed my bedtime. I quickly put away my homework. Before I hopped into bed, I heard noises outside. I went over to my balcony and saw moving trucks stopping in front of a house of opposite of mine. I thought to myself ' What kind of family moves during the day before summer starts?' I didnt think much of it and went straight to bed.
