Seths POV:
I woke up in the morning to the sound of my father violently coughing. I checked my phone for the time, 5:56 am. I then put my phone back on nightstand.
I went in my parents room to check on my dad, to see if he was alright.
"Dad?" I said, opening the door, "You okay?"
"Yes, son." He huffed. "I'm fine."
"You want anything?" I asked.
"No thanks, boy. Your mother is getting me some cough medicine." He answered.
"Well, get well soon." I spoke and he smiled.
My father had been ill for a while now. One day he'd be vomiting in the bathroom, fiercely. The next, he'd be wanting to travel the world.
I exited the room and checked the time, 6:00 am.
I then decided it was time to get ready for my first day of school. I brushed my teeth, put my clothes on and went downstairs to the kitchen.
I saw my sister eating cereal whilst a bowl of cereal was next to her, which I assumed was mine. I turned to the kitchen counter to see my mum, busy, making dads cough medicine.
"Morning." I said.
"Morning!" They both said in usion.
I sat down and began to eat my cereal, whilst mum went upstairs to deliver dads medicine. I finished eating and put my shoes on.
"I'm leaving now!" I called out.
"Bye honey! Have a nice day!" Mum yelled back, from upstairs.
I left the house and went to school.
At least I have Dean... I thought.
