One month has gone by intense training. My uncle, who is a professional hero trainer for recreational developments has come along sometimes to help out too. He always wanted to be apart of my life more than ever since the accident. We are the only thing we have. But today was different, I was resting today to save my energy for the entrance exams tomorrow. I was nervous none the less but I knew I could do it.

I walked down the street to my favorite sushi bar. In there I saw Izuku and his mom. "Hi Jigoku!" Midoriya waved me over.

"Hi, guys how are you?" I smiled softly as the mom talked with us for a long time.

"So Jigoku, we haven't seen you all summer, you were so distant when we last saw you. How is your uncle? Is he alright?" Mrs. Midoriya asked me as I chuckled

"Yes ma'am everyone is doing great, and about that. I've been training very hard all summer. I want to prove to my uncle that the girl he raised will repay him by being the best the world has to offer for her to become. So I'm going to do my best tomorrow. I hope you are to Izuku" I smiled at him, he blushed and agreed.

I left them with a cheery goodbye and left for home. I heard footsteps behind me and turned around to get crashed into. I looked up from the floor to see Bakugo on the ground beside me. "Bakugo, what the hell man," I said rubbing my back sitting up.

"To hell with that mute mut, watch where you're going quirkless nobody!" He shouted and stood up brushing the dust off him.

"I'm not quirkless" I whispered.

He paused and stared at me, anger and confusion murdering my soul through his eyes

"You what?" he hissed

"I said, Bakugo. I am not quirkless" I hissed back and he laughed.

"Is that so? If you aren't quirkless you must have a lame one! And let me guess you are still gonna go to the entrance exams tomorrow huh? If you also, arent quirkless, why haven't you ever used it?" he kept questioning and edging me on.

"Because i.."

"You what" he snapped

"Because I was scared" I looked down and continued. "I was scared of how dangerous it was, but not anymore" I looked up diligently "I've learned self-control and I know I can control my power. And I know I will get in!" I said progressively getting closer to his face. He blushed and pulled back.

"Yea, well whatever I have yet to believe you! Just stay outta my way!" he smirked and ran off again for his jog.

I got home and it was dinner now. My uncle came home shortly after I did. We sat down at the table and talked. "Kayaku, how do you feel about tomorrow?" he questioned. "I feel good about it uncle. I feel very prepared. Are you ready for tomorrow?" I laughed. He smiled "I'll be nervous, I'm counting on you to be the best the world has to offer for you" He smiled. "Of course. I'll do everything I can to make you proud" We both smiled and finished up dinner. "I'll clean up Kayaku go pick a movie, let's have a movie night to ease our nerves and excitement for the entrance exam," he smiled and grabbed my plate. "Sure thing" I bounced up and off to the living room.

I picked out the mummy. It was a great movie. I've always loved the horror stuff.
