Chapter 8

My alarm went off as I groaned and slammed my hand in it. Suddenly I jumped up, "IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF UA HIGH!" I squealed as I fell out of bed and scrambled to get ready. I jumped in the shower and screamed "I'M READY TO BE AWKWARD AGAIN LETS GOOO" As soon as I was in I was out. I Got ready ate so fast I got hiccups and ran to school. I didn't need the train because I was packed on energy and It was a 15 minute run than a 10-minute ride with the train. I made to the gates and the happy look I was wearing immediately turned into a fearful frown. I timidly walked towards the school and made my way to class 1-A. I got stares and points saying all sorts of things. They were all praises and disbelieves about my quirk but I got uncomfortable still.

I got to my class and had a few stares and a harsh glare from Bakugo. I retracted into my shoulders with uncomfortableness. He touched and looked away. "HI! I'm mina!" A pink girl said, "ImTsuyu!" Said a frog-like girl, I got a lot of welcomes from guys and girls alike. "Hello Miss (y/n) I am tenya Ilda!" this guy with pipes on his calves frantically said waving his arm in a karate chop manner. "Uh that's nice, I'm uh- I'm (y/n)," I said shyly. The girls all awed in Kawaii towards me.  I sat in a seat next to a red-haired and white-haired boy. Then theres a boy with a crow's head. They were both quiet, which was good for me. Everyone was focused on their own thing, I sighed and slouched in the back of the chair. Soon the door opened and we all turned our attention. It was Midoriya! "Izuku!" I smiled and waved him over but stopped when an angry yellow worm man was behind him.

"Wha-?" I started as he crawled in. "Hello class I'm your teacher eraser head, also known as Mr. Aizawa" He sighed and stood up. "Today's lesson is a physical assessment. If you come to the last place you'll be disqualified. Go get into your gym uniforms" He said as Ilda stood up. "But sir what about the assembly" Aizawa sighed "Listen rocket boy heroes don't wait for assemblies," He said and walked out. I snickered I couldn't help it. I got a few looks and just went red and shrunk to the shoulders.

We got ready, it wasn't hard to make friends since all of them were so nice. Uraraka, Mina, Tsuyu and Denki were my friends. My new ones at least. The girls and I got ready and we went out. It started off with some others I haven't met. Denki went and he used so much power he went stupid. We laughed really hard. Mina melted the ball but tried again. Tsuyu's went super far, and Uraraka went very far! Infinite actualy! Izuku tried and broke his finger. Next it was my turn. "So I'm allowed to do anything as long as I stay in the circle?" I asked. Aizawa nodded and I took a deep breath. I warmed up, more and more until the air around me crackled, I got all the hot air around my arm and fire charged it. I drew my arm back and flung it as hard as I could. Fire and a small shockwave from the throw blew some back. They stared in awe is it brightly let off a red glow as the fireball flew away like a comet. "Just like Uraraka. Good Job(y/n)" he said and turned to the class. I didn't really pay attention. But no one got expelled. Anyway. The day ended and we are all good now, so I made my way home but was stopped By Bakugo. "Here runt, you dropped this," He said as he walked away looking away from me slightly red. "What's this I didn't drop anything" I wanted to call out to him saying it must be a mistake, but he was gone. "HUh, well now I'm curious" I started walking as I unfolded the post-it note.

(Y/n), your powers are amazingly strong. You aren't a total waste like the others. It's hard to talk in person just fucking deal with it alright? Anyways, Runt, I want to train with you, you could actually be a challenge for me. Not because I think your special or anything! I just wanna beat the seemingly first place in the class so far! I looked in shock. Was this note from Bakugou? Why would he say this? "Oddly nice for a mean guy but still an asshole" I laughed and put the number in my phone. I texted Bakubitch. "Hey its (y/n), and is that a challenge I hear?" I laughed and sent it. I got an almost immediate response. "You bet your ass it is see you tomorrow at the training center 8 am don't be late," He said I read it and walked on.

I got home shortly and put on the news, "Breaking news, the headquarters of H.I.I.T Has been infiltrated by furious underground villains. A record high of 600 dead and 2,000 hostages" She went on I screamed and frantically called my uncle "PICK UP PICK UP" I cried out "Hello? A quiet voice rang, I sighed tears of relief "Weiken You're alright!" I cried. I heard him sniffle. He told me to record the call so I did. "Why what's going on??" I asked as he began to talk "(y/n), I have a gun to my head, as well do 8 others next to me. Call Mrs. Midoriya or Mrs. Bakugo. They are great family friends, they will take care of you. I leave you all my assets, You were the best daughter I could ask for, even though you aren't my daughter. I love you so much" he began to sob "I love you so much, I will be with my family and that makes me happy, but it saddens me because you will have no one, I don't want to leave you. I wish I could have seen you grow more." he was cut off by an angry man telling him to hurry up "You never have failed me, Keep being the best you can! Take everything the world throws at you like a new opportunity I Love-" A bang sounded through the phone. I covered my mouth and quietly sobbed.

A few hours went by when I soon heard a knock on the door. I looked at the clock at 9pm. The epidemic was long over. I went to the door to see Mrs. and Mr. Bakugou along with Katsuki Bakugo. And Mrs. Midoriya with Izuku. "What?" I asked as they all looked at each other saddened at the sight in front of them. "Honey, it's hard we know" Mrs. Bakugo started to reach out at me. I stared at her hand as she pulled it back. I didn't say anything, as my voice has been gone for about an hour now from crying. I just turned away and sat on the couch. My head in my hands, they all walked in as I heard the door shut behind them. I felt someone hug me with shaky arms. I glanced over slightly to see izuku. I put my head down and just sat there. The parents were talking amongst each other in a different room discussing what was going to happen. I had moved to the window away from Bakugou And Izuku. They looked at each other. There was no tension In bakugou, and no fear from him in izuku. They sat there in harmony. I sipped some water bakugou had gotten me. I didn't lift my head or say a word. They asked me questions but I didn't move. I couldn't, how could I when it all fell apart again? I just sat there. I looked up as the boys in front of me did too, eager to see if I would say something, I just looked at them both my eyes red and puffy, as a single tear fell out of my eyes. I looked down again and picked up my phone. They were watching my every move. This is the most they have seen me move since 9 pm. It's currently 1 am. And the parents are still up and awake discussing important matters. I pulled up the recording audio from my phone and stood up. They stood up too. I walked to the adult's table, and set the phone down and pressed play. They looked shocked but listened anyway.

After listening to it, Izuku and Mrs. Midoriya were crying and hugging me as the bakugos were teary-eyed (mom) sobbing (dad) and frozen in shock, which would be Katsuki. Mrs. bakugo speaks up "Is that what you had to hear? Is that the last thing you heard?" I nodded and started crying. We ended up staying at my house the entire night. In the early hours of the morning, the parents went back to their house and left me with the 2 boys. It was a 3 day weekend (Idk if it actually was but well say it is) and the parents let them stay with me as they said they were going to prepare something.
