Still Nico POV

When lunch came I was extremely relieved because the only class I could really understand was history. We were talking about the time where I was actually the age I looked, and not a 97(don't know how old he really is) year old in a 17 (just go with it) year old teenagers body. I concluded that Jasper was alive around that time too because he seemed to know a lot about it. I met up with Thalia and Percy and we found our own table in the corner. I saw Jasper at a table of other vampires who I could only assume were his family. There were four other vampires. One looked like Jasper's twin; she had waist length blonde hair, and piercing gold eyes that held sadness. Her mate was a burly looking guy. He had bangs that cut off at the tip of his forehead, and a permanent goofy smile. Jasper's mate was a pixie looking vampire. Her hair stuck up all over the place, and I knew she had the power to see possibilities of the future. The last vampire was the one without a mate. I could tell something was weighing him down, like he was trying to get over something. He had bronze hair, and his power was telepathy. I feel bad because I can tell he can't control it.

His power is probably the only thing that could give a vampire a headache, and his headache is starting to become a migraine. His hands are massaging his temples, and I can see Jasper trying to manipulate his emotions so he'll calm down, but it's not working. I can recall that his name is Edward from the little information Jasper gave me in class.

I spoke to him in my head, "Edward," he looked at me, "you need to breathe, or your headache is just going to get worse." I could tell he was getting frustrated because he couldn't calm down. Jasper saw me trying to communicate with him and gradually all the vamps saw, but I ignored them. "Edward listen to my breathing, try to match it with yours," his breathing evened out and the vampires looked confused. "Ok now imagine building a wall in your mind. No thoughts go in. None come out. Unless you want them too."

Relief spread all over his face and in his head he said "Thank you." I gave him a nod as if I were saying 'no problem'. Jasper sent me a grateful smile because he didn't like to see his family in distress. I sent him a small smile back, and the rest of the vampires watched the interaction with curiosity. I smiled at them all, and I saw that they couldn't resist smiling back. The perks of being adorable.

       Edward POV

School causes too many problems. To be honest I need to take a vacation from school. I would prefer it be for at least a few years. Yesterday I went over to Bella's house, and found her making out with a random dude, who probably isn't even in high school mind you. She doesn't even love me. She said I was just a fling. I thought she was my mate, but know I don't know what to think. I haven't spoken to anyone since yesterday, and I could feel my headache turning into a migraine as I heard the thoughts of everyone in the room. In my mind I heard an Edward, and I looked over to the source. There sat a boy, probably a new student, who had black hair and sharp brown eyes. He continued talking in my mind, "you need to breathe or your headache is just going to get worse." I don't know how he knew I had a headache, or how I had telepathy, but I tried breathing anyway. My frustration only increased, and I was about ready to punch something. He softened his voice, and said, "Edward listen to my breathing, try to match it with yours." I listened to his breathing, and tried to imitate it. I felt my headache lessen a little bit. Then he communicated, "ok now imagine building a wall in your mind. No thoughts go in. None come out. Unless you want them too."

A few seconds later I realized it worked. Oh my god. A 17 year old child just taught me how to control my powers. I said, "thank you," to him and he gave a nod in affirmative. Jasper sent him a relieved smile. I know he doesn't like to see us in pain. Nico sent a small smile back, and when he noticed my other siblings and I staring at them he smiled. I tried not to, but I smiled back because he looks adorable when he smiles. Like a little puppy. I could tell my siblings thought the same because well, I can hear their thoughts. (Bet you didn't see that one coming. Lol)

I looked at the boy again. According to Jasper's thoughts, his name is Nico. When the bell rang, and everybody was in the hall, I sniffed him out hoping to talk to him.
