Giyuu's p.o.v :

Oh god, this is it, no turning back now.

I twiddle my fingers nervously, my stomach was churning, and I was shaking like mad.

I don't think I've been this nervous for something in forever, it was a new feeling that I wasn't use to. My anxiety was only building up more and more as doubts and self destructive statements flooded my head.

I looked out the car window, though we still have little ways to go before we arrived at Rengoku's house, but the butterflies in my stomach continued to reproduce rapidly.

The sun was starting to set, it painted an orange color in the sky, similar to the shirt my mom was wearing.

"Are you excited Giyuu ?" Speak or the devil.
"Oh, um yeah I guess so." You could hear the uncertainty in my voice, and you could probably hear how shaky it was too.

My mother paused for a minute, my eyes meet hers as she studied me through the rear view mirror, "Do you really wanna go Giyuu?"
I was taken back a little by her question, and she said it in such a soothing motherly voice that would basically force you to tell the truth.

"Well, not really, but it'd be rude if I didn't go." I said a little hesitantly. She didn't say anything for a while, "Well," she said abruptly, "if anything happens call me and I'll come get you." She grinned at me through the rear mirror but quickly focused her attention back on the road.

That made me calm down a little, at least if I get bullied and need to leave I'll have a ride. I'm glad my mom thinks about my socializing problems, she's so nice.

I smiled to myself, and just for a second, I forgot about all the anxiety I felt going to this party.

After 10 minutes of looking out the window we were in the neighborhood, all the anxiety I felt a few minutes ago hit me like a bus. I could feel cold sweat pouring down my face, and I felt like I was gonna pass out.

I almost felt a little nauseous and I know that sounds dramatic but hear me out;this is really scary. Every part of my body stated to fidget and shake, I felt like a little kid again, getting worked up over something like this.

Sleepovers and party's are supposed to be lots of fun, I don't know what I'm so scared of. Maybe it's just I have the socail capacity of a rock, yeah that's I-

"We're here!" My mom sang turning the car off.

Oh no,oh no,oh no,oh no,oh no.

I winced at her words and unbuckled and left the car slowly, trying to buy myself some time. I looked up at the house in front of me. Oh my god are Rengoku's parents rich or something? He has a really big house.

I hopped out of the car and the May weather breeze glazed my skin, it felt really nice, and there were still some cherry blossoms left out. I let out a small smile as I glanced at the spring scenery, I always liked spring, it has such a calming aura to it.

I turn and once again face the house again, my mom is walking towards the door occasionally looking back to make sure I'm coming. I awkwardly shuffle behind her as she approaches the door.

Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm about to die. My life is about to end. I'm literally about to cry , I wanna go home.

I stare at my shaky feet, I hear a little knock in front of me. Oh no, she knocked, I can't get out of this anymore, I'm seriously gonna fucking die right here on his porch.

The door creaks open and on pure instinct I let out a small Yelp in response and step back.

"Hello!" A warm voice says before me, "you must be Mrs.Tomioka! It's nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too." They kept their conversation going, and I'm still awkwardly standing beside my mother hoping nobody in the house sees me.

"You guys came right after the pizza so you could get a slice if you'd like, Giyuu-San!" I lift my head up at the mention of my name, the lady in front of me must be Rengoku's mom, well duh this is his house, but he doesn't really look like her.

"Oh-um-I-I-well..-"

"He'd love some!" My mother chimed in.

Mom you just committed a FUCKING felony.

I winced and glared at my mom, she smirked in response, "go get some pizza, Giyuu." I let out a little groan so Rengoku's mom wouldn't hear, mind you I'm still in panic mode and sweat is starting to form.

My mom practically pushed me in with one swift motion and I tensed up. I was standing inside the house by Rengoku's mom, I could now hear loud chatter and banter in the other room.

this situation suddenly became surreal.

My mom and the other lady wrapped up their conversation and my mom left after saying goodbye to me and wishing me a good time.

"Here let me get your bag Giyuu-San." Rengoku's mom offered me, i nodded my head and handed her my bag, that thing was heavy, I'm glad it's not resting on my shoulder anymore.

She shifted under the weight of the bag and sat it on her shoulder, "the boys are in the kitchen eating pizza."

"Okay." I said watching her go up the stairs to what I can assume was Rengoku's bedroom. I'm debating whether I should run out the door or go have a slice of pizza, two very drastic decisions.

I stood there for a little until I herd a voice say, "I'll be right back I'm heading to the bathroom."

Oh no, someone's gonna see me standing heat like an idiot. I spastically looked around for a way to avoid this embarrassment, it was too late, a figure appeared before me.

"Hey are you okay? You're sweating like crazy."

I looked up, my expression never changed, yet I was surprised who was standing before me.

'Big scar on his right cheek'

Yup, this was him.
