Chapter 9: #1 Friend

Violet then woke up the next day in her own room at her house not knowing how she got there. It didn't take long for her memory to come back of what happened yesterday and looked for her phone to see weather or not she should call Justin.

On the other side of town James had gotten a phone call about how there's a familiar SUV on his golf course. He knew it was Justin and had to wake his ass up. He drove to his golf course looking around until he saw a familiar SUV. Finally finding it he walked up to it and opened the door to see Justin fall out and making him wake up right away.

J: Justin J: James

J: Get up.

J: How did you find me?

J: You're in the middle of a my fucking golf course what do you mean?

J: Yeah yeah, are you here to talk about what a disappointment I am? There did it.

J: Cut it out, You went out and got drunk while your girlfriend had pneumonia?

J: I get it I'm a bad boyfriend

J: You know, Mandy has been saying that ever since you been with her you're finally growing up.

J: But, you don't

J: I promised her I'd give you the opportunity to prove me wrong. And this is what you do. You know what I'm done with this shit. You have 24 hours to get your stuff out of my hotel.

J: What? Are you serious! Where am I supposed to go?

J: I don't care I'm done.

His dad walked out and left Justin to think. All he could think is how he thought of how Violet was the reason he did the drinking and driving. He then got a text from her "can we talk?" putting his phone back in his pocket without responding. He got back into the car and made his way to the hotel. 

Later on in the day Violet got to the hotel and started to make her way upstairs to his hotel room and walked into the room with his spare key she noticed that there were other people with him

V: Hey so I don't know what happened last night, but I'm gonna take it that things didn't end well with us.

J: Yeah, but from you telling me you don't love me to my dad kicking me out I think that says a lot about our partnership with skating.

V: Justin I'm so sorry  I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I was just not myself.

J: Well, my dad and I were finally in a good place there for a minute, but that all went to shit. Oh, well.

V: Justin I-

J: It's cool. You do you. I'll do me. Good luck

V: Wait? Are you breaking up with me?

Justin just shrugged and walked away back to his friends. If that wasn't the most heartless breakup I don't know what is she thought. She slowly backed out and walked back to the lobby of the hotel and started to get teary eyed knowing that it was all her fault. If it wasn't for her dumb actions none of these things would happen in the first place.
Jenn was in the Lodge when she saw Violet and wanted to catch up with her. "Violet, hey wait up". Violet turned around and turned to her Jenn knew that something was wrong.

"What happened? I thought you had pneumonia?"

"I did I'm feeling a lot better" she tried to say without choking up.

"Ok then what's really wrong?". Violet knew that she couldn't lie to her anymore and told her some of the truth. "Justin and I broke up. Hey I'll catch up with you later I gotta go to work."
