In Syracuse, Proteus sighed as the day of the execution that everyone was watching the execution. Sinbad, Marina and the Takano Brothers aren't here yet. Proteus frowned that this is the end of him. His father looked more concerned as his son is going to die. Proteus kneel down and put head on the chopping block and the Executor took out the axe, and the Father looked away, that he didn't want to see him die. Before it happened, a thrown knife cuts off of the axe staff and got almost cut Proteus's head while everyone gasped. When he smiled in relief as he looked over the axe, he sees Sinbad, Marina, Takano Brothers and the crews came.
"I bet you thought I wouldn't make it."
"I was.....beginning to wonder." Proteus rubbed his neck and gulped. Sinbad and Proteus hugged and then Proteus pulled away.
"The Book?" Proteus asked hopefully.
"I did my best. It wasn't enough." Sinbad replied
"No. You came back anyway." Proteus said as his eye widened and clutched Sinbad's shoulder.
"How could I do anything else... my friend?" Sinbad asked, Proteus looked down as he knew that his bestfriend is going to die. Spike whimpered and Sinbad look at his crews, Spike Marina, Two brothers, and Kuro, looked sadly, he looked away and walked towards the chop block and the executor had the sword. Sinbad kneeled down as he stared at the ocean. Spike barked, and tried to ran towards Sinbad, but Kuro pull him back and cling him for comfort and bit his lips as Kuro can't watch him die. The crews looked down in sorrow to their captain, Shiro sobbed and hid his face on Rat's chest as Rat hugged him closer, while Haru had his tears dropped down his cheeks, as he held his face and quietly sobbed and Kale sees it, and rubbed his back in comfort. Marina and Proteus held each other as they sadly looked at Sinbad's fate. As the executor raised the sword, Kuro buried his face on Spike and cried in silence. Sinbad closed his eyes and wait for his death. When the executor was about to cut his head off, the sword broke into thousands of pieces, Sinbad opened his eyes as the floating sword pieces around, with confusion. Then a dark storm form a tornado, everyone looked alarmed and stepped back.
"Get Back!" Dymas said.
Then a swirling cloud connected to the water, Giant Eris appeared in front of Sinbad and the look of her face was really pissed off and glared at Sinbad.
"How dare you?! Everything was going perfectly, and now you do this!" Eris snarled and she angrily swing her arm as her hands clenched in rage as the wood was thrown into the water.
"Eris, I don't understand." Sinbad replied in confusion
"Don't play coy with me. Maybe you can fool these people, but I know who you are. You're a selfish, unprincipled liar!" Eris yelled at him angrily.
"Wait a minute. I didn't lie. I came back. That's why you're here. This was all part of your test. I told the truth. And wasn't there something about being "bound for all eternity"?" Sinbad said as she had an 'X' mark on her left collarbone, and she looked like she's going to kill him, but she can't, as she grunted in frustration, and then sighed in defeat and she handed Sinbad the Book of Peace. Sinbad gently take the Book out of her giant hand.
"Well, well, well. This has got to be a little embarrassing for you, Eris."
"Don't push your luck, Sinbad. You're cute, but not that cute."
"And lucky for you, I've got places to go, things to destroy, stuff to steal. Ta." Eris bid farewell and disappeared. Sinbad looked down at the book and grinning at everyone, as he was about open it, Proteus nodded. Sinbad opened the book, and looked at the symbolic and written materials, and lifted the book up, the light beam pour up to the sky. The light spreaded the kingdom of Syracuse. Sinbad kneeled down and Proteus help him up.
"You know, for what it's worth, I think council believes you now." The councils was shocked and the man with a hat fell off.
"You think?" Sinbad replied. The crowd applauded
"King Dymas. Uh, whoa, hey. How much you got on you?" Sinbad teased Dymas.
"I offer you the gratitude of the Twelve Cities, and the apology of a king." Dymas said
"No, really. How much?" Sinbad joked.
"Sinbad." Dymas scolded him lightly but happily get the Book of Peace back.
"Come on. This is going to be a heck of a party. Everyone's going to want to hear about the voyage."Proteus grasped Sinbad's shoulder
"Fair winds, calm seas. Nothing much to tell." Sinbad said
"What's the matter? No fun if you're actually invited?" Proteus asked. Sinbad looked at Kuro.
"No, it's just, uh, there's a hammock in Fiji with my name on it." Sinbad replied and they clasped their hands tightly in friendship.
"Good sailing, Sinbad."Proteus commented.
"Get a haircut. You're going to be king someday." Sinbad said and Proteus shook his head as a tease. Kuro sadly looked at Sinbad leaves, including the crews. Kale sadly had to leave his lover, Haru, as their hands slipped off and Haru looked down. Rat grabbed Shiro's hands and their forehead put together as they stared sadly that Rat has to leave and whimpered. Even Spike whimpered as Takano Brothers had to stay in Syracuse. Proteus and Marina saw the brothers left.
