Joohoney (6): The Kingdom in Ashes

The group had been stopped for about ten minutes just watching the palace turn to ashes. Joohoney had finally come to his senses and told the protectors and his brother to continue towards Clove. Everyone but Taylor and Princess J.Win followed his orders. Minhyuck and Joohoney ended up carrying the girls when they noticed that they were both too tired and grief-stricken to continue on their own. Joohoney noticed Minhyuck whispering into Taylor's ear, and he swore he saw Minhyuck kiss her on the cheek too. He decided not to question him and wait to bring it up at a more appropriate time. Thirty minutes after we started to walk again, the girls fell asleep. Not long after, we had finally reached Clove. 

"Thank god! You're all okay!!"Mark exclaimed while opening the gate for the group of Bayrin refugees. 

"Yes, but the girls are a little shaken up. Is there somewhere they can sleep comfortably? Minhyuck asked quietly as not to wake the two girls in the boys' arms. When he took a look around the area, Joohoney noticed that a lot of royals and their protectors were there from other kingdoms too.

"Yes, Shownu and Sam will show you all to your rooms," Prince JB said sympathetically.

Shownu hyung and a young girl who Joohoney could only assume was Sam, lead them down a beautiful hallway to a long string of rooms.

"Everyone will get their own room. The three in the front here are for the Princes and Princess. The other rooms are for the rest of you. You can decide which room each of you would prefer on your own if you'd like." Shownu told them. After which Sam took Princess J.Win from her brother and helped her to her room. Then Joohoney went to his room. With the long day, the prince had he fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

When Joohoney woke up in the morning, he immediately went to check up on his younger siblings. Hoshi was his first stop. He seemed to be alright. He was accompanied by The8, Silver, Bang Chan and Anna in his room. (The8 and Silver are engaged, and Anna is engaged to a family friend. Bang Chan is already married to a family friend. Silver, Anna and Bang Chan are also all siblings. Lastly, Hoshi is engaged to Princess Suyong of Haywood kingdom by choice.) Then he went to J.Win's room. When he entered, he saw that V, Taylor and Minhyuck accompanied J.Win.

"You're finally awake," Taylor smiled towards Joohoney and motioned for him to sit with them. Joohoney returned the smile and ruffled her hair before sitting beside his sister on her bed. 

"How is everyone feeling?" he asked while looking around at his friends and sister.

"We are all a little shaken up, but all in all, we are okay, Oppa," Jaewoo said with a slight smile. They talked for a little bit then got ready for the day. After which the Bayrin group went to the King's throne room to appropriately greet and thank the family for taking them in. 

"Good morning, children. How are you all feeling today?" Queen Momo asked as soon as they stepped into the room.

"We are all okay. Thank you, your highness," Jaewoo said while bowing slightly.

"That's good to hear. We got word that your mother and father made it safely to Hilton last night as well. Hopefully, that will ease your minds a little more," The Queen said again.

"Yes, it does. Thank you, your majesty!" Prince Hoshi said with a smile. All of the Bayrinians were happy to hear the news.

"Now that you are all here, the Queen and I have something to inform you all about," King Heechul said earning everyone's full attention, "Other kingdoms including Salestia, Winxmill, Vancadia, Taerrin, Hilton, and Haywood have all sent their second-generation royals and protectors to Clove as well. It is for every one of your safety. You are the most important people to keep safe as you are the future of our kingdoms. For training and schooling purposes, you have all been placed into mixed groups with other kingdoms. These groups will have people from different kingdoms but will be all same-sex groups. Most of you have been with these groups since childhood, so this shouldn't be too hard for you to adjust to. I hope this is alright with all of you," Everyone nodded and the king gave us our groups and where to meet them. Joohoney knew one this for sure about this plan. This was going to be interesting.
