A/N: OK so the story is in third person from now on and it won't be in lowercase anymore.

"Taylor, come on we have to register you for school." Ashton groaned trying to get her out of bed for the third time now.
"I don't want to go, I don't care about school, why can't mommy take me?" She threw a bunch of words at Ashton.
The talk Luke had given Taylor hadn't lasted very long.
"Anyways just put some clothes on." Ashton groaned. He was pretty fed up with Taylor's attitude.
"Fine." She huffed putting on a shirt and some jeans.
After she came out Ashton grabbed his jacket and car keys.
"Let's go." He said reaching out his hand for hers, she stared at him like he was crazy.
"Princess, you're allowed to hold my hand I won't bite." Ashton lightly chuckled.
"I know, I just don't wanna hold your hand." She said sitting in her car seat and strapping her seat belt. Ashton sadly sighed and put his hands on the steering wheel ready to leave.
-
"Madison, just come over and see her if you want, she's been begging to see you all month." Ashton yelled through the phone earlier frustrated.
"Fine, fine I'll come over." Madison sighed on the other end of the phone line, also ending the phone call.
"Taylor, mommy's coming over." Ashton said walking into her room, interrupting her current session of a 'tea party'
"Yay!" She yelled.
Within an hour Madison came over.
"Mommy!" Taylor yelled leaping into her mom's arms. Once again it made Ashton's heart break, he wanted to hug her and hold her, but she hates him.
"Hey love, how are you?, have you been having fun?" Madison asked.
"I'm fine but mommy I don't like daddy." Taylor whispered, even though Ashton could hear it.
"Don't say that." Was all Madison said. Taylor nodded and Madison set her down on the couch.
"So how's it going?" Madison asked Ashton who was currently staring at Taylor.
"I mean, it's not like our daughter hates me or anything." Ashton said more harsh then he intended.
"Look it's not my fault that you weren't-"
"I wasn't there I get it but for goodness sakes, show me some love, she's breaking my heart." Ashton said his eyes dull and full of sadness.
Madison actually felt pity for Ashton. She had never seen him thus hurt and upset. It didnt occur to her how much Ashton actually cared.
"Im sorry Ash, I really am but theres nothing I can really do." Madison sighed, there was nothing she could do.
He nodded even though his face was full of sorrow and sadness.
"Now you be good to daddy ok?" Madison said to the little girl standing before her. Taylor didn't say anything she just shrugged.
"Bye guys." she said her voice barely audible.
Ashton slightly waved before Taylor finally spoke up.
"Why didn't mommy take me with her?" she asked.
"She couldn't ok, you have to live with me." Ashton sighed. He had heard that question a million times and yet he'll never get used to it.
"I don't like you." she huffed. Ashton was ready to cry. Why was this so hard? What was he doing wrong?
"Ok listen I know I'm not the perfect dad but why cant you just love me, like me at least, I just want a relationship with you, cant you see that you're breaking daddys heart." Ashton didn't realize the amount of tears coming from his eyes. Who knew a child could have this much of an effect on someone?
Taylor had a look of guilt on her face. She didnt know or think about how much this was effect her daddy, she was only four.
"Daddy dont cry." She knelt down beside him. Ashton was sobbing, and he felt like worthless father, that's why he was sobbing.
He wiped his tears.
"Can I hold you princess." he asked holding his arms out. She nodded. He carried her in his arms and for the first time she held onto him.
"I love you so much." he kised her cheeks.
"I love you to." She said, and she meant it.
