I don't care at all

One sunny day, Sonic and Shadow were racing down Station Square. Sonic had enough of Shadow getting to him too many times. Knowing Sonic, he would never turn down a race. Not even against his rival. Sonic loved races. And if he lost, Shadow would ask or Sonic would demand a rematch. And as much as Sonic hated losing, he kept accepting every race until he would win against him. So far, Sonic lost one race...but Sonic kept asking for rematches. And after every single rematch, Shadow would smirk and chuckle at him, cockily.
After another rematch, Sonic started getting frustrated. Shadow chuckled more and watched as he enjoyed Sonic getting annoyed. "My my Sonic," he said with a toothy smirk. "That's a side of you I have never seen before. Are you finally accepting that I am the better hedgehog?" Sonic scowled at him. He clenched his fists, wanting to attack him, but then suddenly, someone came by. A girl hedgehog.
"Hey Sonic. Are you-?" She began. But Sonic cut her off and said, "Not now, Amy. I already told you, I am busy." He looked away with frustration, and Amy said again. "Sonic...I was actually gonna ask if-" "I said not now!" Sonic said again loudly before running off. Amy looked back at Shadow who was chuckling more. "Wonder what his problem is," he said. "Such a sore loser." Amy looked back in the distance, wondering if Sonic was okay.
Later that day, with the clouds covering the sun for a cloudy day, Sonic and Silver were fighting. Sonic thought he would get his anger out if he fought with Silver. Silver understood, and accepted his challenge. But it only made things worse as when Sonic tried to attack, Silver would throw him back with his telekinesis.
As Sonic stumbled on the ground, Silver looked down at him, watching him grunt and pant. "Sonic. If you've had enough, you can tell me, and we take a break," he said. Sonic then quickly got back up on his feet and said, "I am not quitting...! Not until I beat you...! It's not fair that you're beating me with your stupid telekinesis!" Silver crossed his arms. "Listen Sonic. We all have our powers and abilities. I have telekinesis, and you have super speed. Plus, you know I'm much slower than you. So fair's fair. But I know you're upset because you're frustrated, so we're stopping right here."
Just then, Sonic swept his leg against Silver's, causing him to stumble and fall. "I said I am not quitting!" Sonic yelled as he looked down at Silver. "Stop!" Someone yelled in the distance. The same pink hedgehog from earlier rushed in and stood in front of Silver, protecting him.
"Amy?! Stay out of the way! This is our fight!" Sonic yelled. "Absolutely NOT!" Amy yelled back at him. "Sonic, we need to talk." Sonic then stepped back and shrugged, saying calmly, "You know what? I think I'm gonna just hang out with Tails and Knuckles. You know. My two best friends." Amy looked at him, feeling upset. "Sonic," she began, softly. "Gotta run Amy!" Sonic smirked as he ran off.
Amy sighed, looked back at Silver, and helped him up. "Thanks Amy," he said, getting up. "You're welcome," Amy said. "What in the world is with Sonic? He's never ever like this before," Silver asked with curiosity. "How should I know? He won't even listen to me," Amy shrugged.
Later, as the clouds were getting darker, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles were all hanging out on Angel Island. Sonic smiled as he was finally hanging out with two of his best pals. "You know, you two are the best friends a hedgehog could ever ask for," Sonic said while patting their backs. Tails the Fox and Knuckles the Echidna watched as he was acting different than usual.
Suddenly, Sonic watched as a large ring appeared, and out of that ring came the same pink hedgehog again. And just then, something sparked inside Sonic...like a small flame started to burn up inside him. Amy looked at them and walked toward Sonic. "Amy...," Sonic said, slowly. "How...How did you get here?" "Tails and Knuckles invited me," she said. And then...Sonic slowly turned toward his two friends. "We figured you wouldn't mind Sonic," Tails said. "Yeah. I mean you do seem happier today than usual," Knuckles said.
Sonic didn't say anything.... All of a sudden...the flame inside him started to grow bigger and bigger.... In his mind, he could hear the beating of his own heart and the sound of his deep breathing.... As he shut his eyes, Amy slowly walked towards him, and touched his hand. "Sonic...," Amy began. And at that moment...Sonic immediately slapped Amy hard across the face! So hard, Amy stumbled back. Tails and Knuckles gasped as they all looked at the back of Sonic. Knuckles reached out to Amy as Tails was looking at Sonic still. "Woah! Sonic! Uncool!" Knuckles yelled. "Yeah! What's the deal?!" Tails asked.
Sonic clenched his fists as a strong wind started blowing, and all the sunlight has been blocked by the dark clouds. As thunder started rolling, a dark aura grew around Sonic. "You wanna know what the deal is?" Sonic asked slowly. The all watched in fear as what was happening to their friend. He then turned around...his green eyes disappeared to reveal just a big white iris. His quills rose as he then released a huge amount of dark energy, causing him to turn dark!
"THE DEAL IS, I CAN'T JUST HAVE A FUN HAPPY DAY ALL TO MYSELF WITHOUT ANYONE MAKING ME FRUSTRATED OR ANGRY!!! PEOPLE JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW HARD THEY'RE BEING, OR HOW DUMB THEY'RE ACTING TO CAUSE PEOPLE TO GET SO IRRITATED!!!" Sonic roared with all his might as the thunder grew louder, and lightening started striking. Sonic then stomped towards their friends and yelled right in their faces! "WHAT IN THE WORLD MAKES YOU THINK THAT I WANT TO HANG OUT WITH AMY?!?!?! SHE HAS BEEN ANNOYING ME ALL DAY!!! NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I TOLD HER I WAS BUSY, SHE CAN'T JUST LEAVE ME THE HECK ALONE!!!"
They all stood scared as they watched Sonic let out his rage. He then grabbed Amy and yelled right in her face. "WHY DON'T YOU JUST TAKE A HINT, AND JUST LEAVE ME ALONE WOULD YOU?!?!?! GO BOTHER SOMEONE ELSE FOR A CHANGE!!!"
He then stomped back, breathing hard more as the flame inside him grew wild. Suddenly, seven glowing gems appeared, and let out a dark glow like Sonic. He was then lifted into the air in front of a giant green gem on top of a mystic ruin.
"IF I CANT JUST HAVE A DAY WHERE I CAN BE HAPPY, THEN MAYBE NO ONE SHOULD! SO THEY COULD JUST TAKE SOME TIME TO UNDERSTAND! AND NOT BE SO STUPID ALL THE TIME!!!"
And with that...lightening struck the ruin holding the giant Master Emerald, and Sonic let out a powerful scream! Everyone covered their eyes as a bright white light appeared!

And then...everything changed....
