"Is it a crime if you throw sodium chloride at someone's eye?" I ask laying on the bed while staring at the crusty white paint of the ceiling room as the rain patters on the roof

"That's assault" replies Anders, as he licks his finger to the turn the page on the book he was reading

Anders Lee was my linguistic and psychology teacher that Berny (Brother Bernard) introduced me to when I was still young

Now he's here to help me with a job I have to do and that job is to infiltrate the Dryden Family drug ring via the second son to Lord George's 5th wife.

I have to say, Berny's plan was great, but mine is better...

"I know it's a salt, but is it a crime?" I ask once more

Anders sighs to himself and resigns from his book for a while to get tea, really, you can't be an English man without having your dosage of tea.

The reason why I'm currently stuck in this place is that the damn rain and also because Mi Shen Liu, or rather, Jack End cancelled the meeting due to the heavy rain

I stood up from the bed I was lying on and went towards my bag to get the snack I've been saving. As I was busy scouring my bag for something to munch on, the door behind me opened

Instantly, I knew something was wrong, these footsteps, they're too light to belong to Anders and they also sound.... wet, meaning an intruder that came from the outside.

Slowly reaching for my gun hidden in my bag, I instantly think of dozens of scenarios on how this might go down

A. Intruder has a knife and plans to stab me with it, I instantly jump away to increase my distance from my attacker and fire my gun.

B. Intruder has a gun and plans to kill me with it once he/she closes in enough to secure a sure kill, which will make this a zero-mistakes scenario.

C. The intruder is an enhanced/augmented human and plans to kill me with its augmentation/superhuman skill, which will give me no choice but to run towards Anders and run.

D. It's John Cena

Hoping for D ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Holding the gun tightly in my hands, I prepare myself to jump towards the bed and shoot the intruder and say "You came to the wrong house foo'"

But before I even managed to do any of this, I was suddenly grabbed by two hands from behind. I turn around and point the gun towards the person behind me and to my surprise, it's Ms. Popov.

She grabbed onto me for dear life, her sobbings weren't heard but I can feel them in my chest, her hands and clothes were wet and it seeped through my clothes as she held onto me even tighter than before

But what took my attention, was her hands, her hands were stained in blood, the blood's colour is dark red meaning this blood was old, not fresh

She must've done the act some time ago.

I dare to not mutter a single word and let Ms Popov cry her heart out while I cover her in a towel, we both lie in bed as I sing her sweet nothingness into her ears to ease her pain

Her cold body felt like a sting to my own as it suddenly felt the sudden change of temperature. Gradually, my body heat mixed with hers and her tears stopped flowing

My clothes and bed were now wet due to Ms Popov's wet clothes. I ignore all sense of discomfort as I hold her tighter and close my eyes to enjoy this sweet moment.

Another blast of the Negative Cosmic Ray finally destroyed The One Above All, turning him into Space Dust that floats around in space in hopelessness

Does the Old Fool think he can stop me with this? Well, I'll just have to raise an army! An Army that can go against the Celestial and Eternals protecting that Planet!! Yes! Yes!!

I apologize if the chapter feels kinda rushed, I haven't had an ounce of sleep yet so my bad. As a way to make up for it, I'll make the next chapter have 2000+ words

Fun Fact: I originally was supposed to put another person to have like the opposite of the Cosmic Cube and I'll name it the "Destruction Cube" or some shit like that

But I thought it'll be too bothersome to create a whole new personality for his MC main enemy, so I just made his enemy a fucking God.
