Modelling // Chapter 16

Two days passed, two days of acting a stranger with the same workplace with Alex, he is my boss and I'm his secretary I usually attend  meetings with him and do schedules with him. And today would be the third day, the third day of coldness between of us.

I slide my heels and I was ready to go. I was a little early today because me and that Bartender guy we would go to see his friend from the agency.
I was thinking a little less office work and I was thinking to do modelling since I have been a model way back from my year.

I look at myself in the mirror. What a face.
I wipe my eye area before heading out.
I arrived at the venu we should be meeting and that guy was there chilly drinking his cup of coffee and scrolling through his phone. I breath out and put on a smile. " hey. "

He looked to me and smiled back. I was getting a new vibe to him. " got a new look?" He chucckle to me and smiled. " got a new haircut. "

I nod placing my bag on the table and I seat, he seat across me and we started a conversion, we talked about some funny things until we came to the topic of the work.

" good news the company Manager just accepted your form and he wants to tell you that you can come to his office for the pre-shots."

A smile form to my lips and I was very happy of the delighted news. Who would know I would be this lucky in Seattle. Finding  Works in Seattle had always been the hardest and I just got lucky this time.

"Wow amazing. Sure I'll come by this afternoon. " he nod and lean back crossing his arm. " I'll be with you. "

My smile was like an ear to ear smile, because of happiness I told him " hey you know what I'll treat you on dinnet since you worked hard to help me and Jemaira. "
At last I can breath and not feel soficated on my place and I could not see Alex face.

The dude was so generous to come with me I really appreacite how Jemaira and him is helping me.

"Ms. Aliya do you have any experience at modelling?" Question by the manager.

"Yes I did 3 years ago. " he nod to affirm and he smiled to me and closed my folder. I was very nervous and my mind is telling me that I was not goof enough. "Ms. Aliya we could do some photoshot to clear your employment. "

The sound seem bad and good at the same time but I love the way of tone he is using. A single hope spark inside me and he stood up leading me to the photoshot area.
After explaning me some fee things he added, " the photographer will be here soon and you better be prepaired also can you do your own make up? for the mean time" he raised his browse.

"Yeah why? " he smiled a little and sigh, " the make up artist got sick and needs a week of days leave. But for the mean time can you do your make up? " he asked.

My learnings from the Mac summer class will not go to waste the oppurtunity of doing my make up for this modelling photoshot is a deal for me not only to show my talent but also challenge me.

The happiness added more and more already forgetting about Alex and works.
He tapped my shoulder, " I'll trust you do your best. " he winked to me.

I waited him to go out to the door and I was full of excitment I rushed to the dressing room and saw the vanity full of well arranged make up.

Wow! I never saw a lot like this in my life.

The dream of having such a high end brand make up was iverwhelming. I could not afford one but if I do it is all because of the help of Alex, spoiling me to the max.
I started with the clothes which is hanged at the clothing stand, there was not much to choose from and I understand who would want a new employee like me who is not even officialy accepted to the company wear such a designer clothes but damned I have way more designer clothes back at my closet.
