Chapter 3: The Opportunity

Yuuri POV

I put some skates on yurio and went on the ice. Then I noticed Victor get on the ice also.  "Do you mind if I join?" I shake my head "No of course not, but are you not tired?"
He shakes his head "nah I'm okay." He gives me a sweet smile that just melts my heart 'Victor sure is charming. No nope come in Yuri be professional about this!' I held yurios hand and brought him to the center.
"Alright tiger can you do a circle?" He looked at me and Victor then to the penalty box were everyone was watching. "But people are watching me." I was confused he has never been shy before but he has never been with professional skaters before so I guess I understand. Before I could say something Victor kneeled before Yurio and put a hand on his shoulder. "Yurio do you enjoy Skating?" Yurio nods "I love skating." Victor smiled "then that's all that matters. As long as you love something it will show. So just have fun. I always do." Yurio nodded and smiled slightly. He started to skate forward and me and Victor followed him to make sure he does not fall. He turned around sharply and was little shaky but still good. "Good job tiger you just need to keep your arms out for balance and you will do it perfectly!" He nodded and did it once again and it was better. Then he started skating backwards slowly but surely. Then he turned from that to face the front. "Wow amazing yurio!"me and victor praised yurio then came up to me and reached for me. " lux!!!" i smiled "okay okay come here." I pick him up and started skating once I hit a good speed I do a lux jump once I land I hear a fit of giggles coming form Yurio. "Again! Again!" I laugh and do another "Again! Another one!" so I start to do a spin "WEEEEEEEEEE" Yurio yelled  while laughing. I put him down "teach me please Uncle Yuuri!" I laugh "Maybe when your older. I can teach you something smaller though waltz jump maybe." He nodded. I started to tell him the micanics and victor was right there with me demonstrating. Yuri went to try but fell. "Ow!" It was a small fall so no tears just a blush of embarrassment. once he finally got it everyone clapped at his success. "Good job tiger" I pick him up and kiss his cheek. We got off the ice and the pros got back on. Yurio was so excited to watch them. I noticed that victor was struggling through it just slightly probably because he didn't rest, but he was magnificent still. Yakavo was very nice to Yurio asking pop quiz questions like what jump was that or what is wrong with his form. Yurio did pretty good awnsering the questions and by the end of practice he starting to get very sleepy. I was holding him in my arms and he was pretty much asleep. "So what happened at school?" yakof asked and victor looked up wanting to know the answer as well sigh. "Apparently some kids called him a freak because he had no dedushka."
"THAT IS AWFUL WERE IS THIS KID ILL TEACH HIM A LESSON!"Victor yelled I waved my hands "its a 6 year old boy Victor what are you going to do. The principal will handle it and i made sure Yurio understands what to do in situations like this. Just walk away and talk to an adult." They both nodded "is it okay if I bring him the next few practices? He was suspended for a few days and I can't afford a sitter." Yakovf nodded "of course he can by the way I want to tell you that he has a lot of potential and I'd be happy to coach him" i looked wide eyed "I'm sure Yurio would love that ... But I'm afraid I can't afford it. This year has been unkind and money is scarce." Yuri  smiled sadly. Victor budded in quickly "I'll pay for it!" my eyes get wide "WHAT!" I was shocked Yurio groaned and nuzzled deeper into my chest. I look down making sure He was still asleep I then stare at Victor. "Victor you don't have to do that! Its to much I don't know if I would ever be able to pay you back!! And I -"
"Yuuri it is no problem really. You can pay me back by being my partner in a pair skating routine."
I stare absolutely flabbergasted.

No ones POV

Little did Yuuri and Victor know the other skaters who had seen the pair dance around there attraction for each other for a while. They were not surprised about the proposal Victor had just offered for Yurio either in all honesty they all would have offered if Victor failed to do so. Yurio was just so cute!!! and seemed to be a quick learner. he would most definitely have a bright future in finger skating.

Back to Yuuris POV

I just didn't know what to think or do. What the hell do you do in a situation like this. "I- well I- wait - but- I - What!" I yell quietly trying not to wake Yurio. "Victor i- for one I'm definitely not good enough to be an equivalent to a full payment of classes. Two i couldn't take money from you!" Victor shook his head "one yes you are i have seen you skate and two you wouldn't be taking the money Yakof would be." I just stare in disbelief. "Victor! You- I " Victor placed a finger on my lips. "it's already done you should know by now that I am a stubborn man I won't change my mind I will pay for the classes if Yurio is there or not so let's not put the money to waste hmm. And partner practice will start everyday after this practice."  Victor goes to get a drink and I stand there defeated I definitely was not going to win. Sasha patted me on the back and winked at me. I had a feeling they were all going to push me to take the deal there was no winning. I sigh. "Are we practicing today?"  Victor smiles "Yup" I nod. As everyone leaves they say goodbye.  We sit and let Victor rest for a bit. "So do you have a song in mind and or story?" I ask.
"Yes actually. The song is V-pop by Lindsay sterling and the story is
A worrior is strong and only knows fighting but then meets a beautiful dancer they fall in love while dancing and when worrior leaves again to fight but then his beautiful dancer was taken and he fights for him and is stronger then ever before. In the end he wins and shares a kiss with his love."
" I blush a love song look down "so w-who is the dancer in this situation?" victor put his hand under my chin and lifted my face so we were eye to eye. "The most beautiful one here of course, you." I blush even more. Yurio had coaghing fit and caught my and Victors attention. Victor looked scared "is he okay!?" I nod "he just had a coughing fit if it continues I'll take him to a doctor, but for now it could have just been a cough nothing more." I rub Yurios back
yurio woke up and rubbed his eyes.
"Hi baby how was your nap?" He yawned and nodded mumbling "good" into my chest. I chuckled "come on Tiger you need to stay awake or else you won't sleep tonight." He sat up and looked around confused "where did everyone go?" He looked at me  I smiled "everyone went home me and Victor were going to practice he has offered me a spot in his pair skating and you can take ice skating lessons from Yakof if you would like." Yurios eyes got wide "REALLLY!" I nod my head "Yes really" i chuckle Yurio hugged me really fast and said "THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH UNCLE YUURI!" I pat his back and say "Thank Victor he is helping to make it possible." he turned and jumped into Victors arms unexpectedly but Victor was able to catch him. "THANK YOU VICTOR!" Victor smiled "You are very welcomes Yurio! You are so precious!" He gives him a big hug Yurio giggles. I smile at the sweet moment between them. 'He would be a good father' I blush at my thoughts. this is going to be a long pactice.
