1k Special: An Extra Date

(3rd POV)

Shirou and Rin were walking through the streets, the sun was setting down, the former had his head hung down while the latter was just blissfully laughing.

Rin: Hahahhaha

Shirou: Yeah yeah it's funny I got slapped for telling Coco, her own bust size.

Rin: Well at least the red hand print is gone. So Shirou where's the restaurant that we're dining at?

Shirou: Not far from here, did you bring the dress? Your going to need it later?

Rin: So this place is a restaurant and a dance floor. Where are you taking me?

Shirou: You'll see. Ah here we are.

The couple arrive at a very very fancy looking restaurant, Rin looked at a board and saw the price for just booking a space here, then her jaw dropped at the prices of food. She turned to shirou, that only had a neutral expression.

Rin: Shirou, don't you think the prices are a little too expensive?

Shirou: Don't worry Rin, like I told Velvet in our date, money isn't an issue.

They enter the establishment, to have a waiter guide them to their seats, Rin was a bit hesitant to order anything until Shirou reassured her that it was okay, that he had the money for it.

Shirou: (thought) Thank you again Jaune.

They enjoyed their food, Rin ordered herself a roasted stake with rice and a salad dressing. Shirou on the other hand, just ordered himself a small salad. Rin noticed the difference got worried.

Rin: Shirou is something wrong? You got yourself a pretty small plate.

Shirou: Don't worry Rin, the thing is that I've already eaten quite a bit on my other dates and am almost full, and this is far healthier than cookies and popcorn.

Rin: So how did you pull all this off, in only a couple of hours, it's almost as if you've been planning on asking us on a date for days.

Shirou doesn't answer but just smiles at Rin, the latter becomes increasingly nervous as her hypothesis was proven correct.

Rin: How long-

Shirou: 2 weeks and a half.

Rin: wow I'm impressive on how independent you've been since you got here Shirou.

Shirou: What do you mean Rin?

Rin: Well ever since we've been allies in the War, I've always taken the lead, planing every, heck even our first date back on our Earth. I guess you just left me behind.

Shirou: Rin?

Rin: You done so much, you've saved Ruby and her team, you've overpowered Heroic Spirits...

Shirou: I lost to two out of the three.

Rin: ...and when I was cornered by Ozpin's expulsion, you stepped up and challenged him.

Shirou: yeah but we lost our cover.

Rin: No you mangled to trade with the man that probably holds a lot of influence in this world. I've been pretty useless.

The boy then sees his partner's eyed water up and her nose became a slight shade of pink, Shirou moved his body to stand up and slide to her side.

Shirou: Rin...You shouldn't view yourself that way, during the War and even here you've been as, if not more resourceful and strategic than Archer, and we both know that he is very resourceful.
