After you are baptized by water, you can also be baptized with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God's personal presence and part of the trinity; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus promised to send a helper that will be with us forever.
Simply ask in prayer and faith for the Holy Spirit to dwell in you and God will grant you this.
If you go to a place that is anti-christian and full of sin, the Holy Spirit will prompt you to leave. If you refuse to leave and remain, the Holy Spirit can leave you. If this happens, repent with a sincere heart and ask for the Holy Spirit to return.
