Gencio - Snow Day

Genji sat on a couch in the living room of the apartment him and Lucio shared. It was snowing outside, kind of like a blizzard, but not as bad.

The half omnic male had taken off what he could of his armor. Of course lots of it still remained on his body, but that was only because he needed those parts to live.

Genji took a sip from his mug full of hot chocolate while he watched the Christmas movie that was currently on. Even though it was no longer December and now the new year, he continued watching the so popular Christmas movies everyone seemed to love.

As the cyborgs fifth movie ended he heard a loud jingle of keys from outside the front door that was only a few steps away. He then heard a click and saw the handle to the door twist. Walking into the apartment was none other than Lucio correia dos santos. His boyfriend.

"Welcome home!," the cyborg said with a smile towards the frog lover. All the other male did was walk over and flop on the couch next to the ninja though. The DJ laid his head on the cyborgs shoulder as a sigh escaped his mouth. "Rough day?," Genji asked as he sat his mug down on the coffee table. "Mhm...," the dj hummed in response.

The couple sat in silence for a minute or two before Genji said, "would you like to watch movies with me?" The frog lover nodded with a faint smile on his face. "Let me guess, Christmas movies again?," Lucio questioned. The ninja grinned with a nod which caused the Brazilian to chuckle. "I'll make the popcorn and get the cookies," Lucio said as he started to stand up. "I can get the hot chocolate!," Genji volunteered as he grabbed his almost empty mug and stood up.

The two walked to the kitchen that wasn't very far. Only a couple steps and they were there. Lucio went to grab the bags of popcorn and the cookies while Genji grabbed what he needed for hot chocolate.

Lucio had two small bags of microwavable popcorn in his hand. He placed one in the microwave and when it was done he placed the other in. Once they were both done poppping he put them in a bowl. The Brazilian then grabbed the cookies that had been left over from the new years eve party that was hosted not too long ago.

Genji had made the hot chocolate for him and Lucio like he said he would. He refilled his own plain green mug that had been almost empty and grabbed the frog mug that belonged to Lucio. He then, of course, filled up the mug.

Once the two had everything ready they headed back to the living room. Lucio sat the bowl filled with popcorn and the plate of cookies on the coffee table. Genji handed the DJ's mug over to him and he took it. Then the two both sat down.

"What would you like to watch?," the ninja asked. Lucio thought for a moment. "Hmm...," he hummed, "Frosty the Snowman?," he suggested. "Frosty the Snowman it is!," the cyborg said and grabbed the remote for the tv. He then put the movie on that contained the jolly snowman. As the movie started Lucio cuddled up to the cyborg and smiled.

For the rest of the night the two lovers just watched Christmas movies, ate food, and drank hot chocolate. Some time during the night though they ended up falling asleep. They were snuggled up next to each other under a soft blanket that Genji had gotten some point, during the night.
