"The zoo!! We're here, yay!" Yang started to cheer once again.
"Yang, can you please tone your voice down. You wouldn't want to disturb some people around us, would you?" I said to her.
"Okay, I'll behave for you papa." Yang smiles playfully.
"Something tells me you won't." I chuckled as I boop her nose.
Ruby was in a stroller that I had bought about four days ago, with having four kids to look after at the same time in a crowded place, I'm gonna find this difficult if one of them were to went missing.
The five of us strolled around the zoo and look at the animals that the girls had found interest in. We first went to the koalas which Weiss fascinated, then head to the elephants. Ruby was giggling and raises her arms as she watch the elephant walk around.
Next, we went to the lions. The trio were all close to the glass wall that separates the area we are in to the lions' area. All of them had bright faces as they watch one male lion walk towards then.
The lion stopped just in front of them and later it roared, Weiss and Yang were visibly terrified by it and immediately run to hug me. I look at Blake at saw that she's standing still in her position, looking at the lion.
"At least Blake is brave enough." I smiled.
I walked towards her and sweated a little after seeing her face full of terror.
"Maybe not." I nervously chuckled.
Picking her hang and trying to calm her down, Blake only hugs me tightly.
"Daddy, I don't want to be eaten..." She said in a shaky voice.
"Don't worry, I got you. I'll make sure to protect you, so calm down now." I reassured her.
We continue to look around for more animals to see, everytime they encounter new ones I would take a picture using my phone.
It was now lunch time and we found a vacant table in the zoo. All of us are sitting down as I prepare our food. I placed one bento each in front of the girls while I hold Ruby's. I began to feed her first while the other girls happily eat their own food.
Feeding Ruby at the moment is somehow a little difficult, she moves too much causing a bit of a mess. Maybe she doesn't want to eat anything right now, but it's bad for her if she didn't eat.
I then thought of an idea, grabbing the bottle of milk from the bag, I gave it to her and she began to happily drink the milk. Smiling in relief, it was now time for me to eat my food.
Twenty minutes later, all of us are done eating. I cleaned up the table and put all the bento boxes back in the bag and we continue our walk around the zoo.
"Daddy, can we see the pandas?" Weiss asked.
"Sure then, let's go." I said and we began to walk to where the pandas are.
All the girls had wide smiles on their faces, just seeing this already makes me happy. Looking at my watch, it's only 1pm. We still have time before we head back home.
And so we went to see various types of birds, Blake was engrossed at them. I wondered what's on her mind. About half an hour after seeing almost all animals in the zoo, we went to the gift shop. Where the girls are all wanting me to buy this and that, that's what kids are.
I ended up buying them only a half of what they've want. Both Blake and Weiss were kind of sulking because of it. I sighed, while Ruby giggles as she hugs her new toy.
An hour had past and I think it's now time for us to head home. I've had enough for today.
"All right, that's everyone now. Let's go girls." I said.
Just as we were about to leave I noticed something off. I looked back at the girls and see that Yang was no where to be seen. I panicked, where in the world did she go?
.....................
While they were walking around about to head their way out of the zoo, Yang was busy playing with her new toy that she hadn't caught up with them and got lost in the crowd.
Yang stood in the middle of the crowd, constantly looking around for her father. Just as she was about to cry, she spotted a person that she thought was him.So Yang followed him and tried to catch up.
"Papa.. papa wait!" She shouted.
As quickly as she can, she finally caught up to him. But her expression turned into a shock one the moment she saw the guy's face was not his father's.
She got scared and started to slowly cry while lost in the crowd. The young blonde doesn't know what to do. During that time, Y/N was already searching for her. As she cries, Yang happen to look at a woman standing in front of her.
The woman was tall, has black long hair and crimson eyes. She didn't know but she was staring at her the whole time, her tears stopped flowing a moment ago. The woman noticed her staring and looked at her with those fierce eyes of hers.
Yang continued to stare directly to her eyes, she wiped the tears off her eyes and hugged her toy. The woman later averted her gaze when she noticed someone calling for Yang. As abruptly as Y/N arrived beside Yang, the mysterious woman walked away and left, never to be seen around.
"Yang! Are you okay? You aren't hurt are you?" Y/N was extremely worried of her.
"Papa... it's scary when I'm alone." Yang hugged him tightly.
"It's okay now. I'm here, you really should stay close to me okay? Let's go home and get some rest." He stands up with her in his arms.
They went back to Weiss and the other two who were being watched over by a guard at the gate. He thank the guard for looking after them and soon they went back home. Yang fell asleep in her father's arms this whole time.
